    That’s all for now Simtropolitans... This was one complicated Update. For whatever reason it will not allow me to post more than a couple of lines after I insert a table thus causing me to have to create posts every time I post data which is kind of annoying and seems spammish on my part.     First of all, that's an amazing update...how long did that take you?

    Also, I'm thinking that in general, the Schop institute might be able, depending on if it gets donations or finds a way to get points, to pay for parks inside other developments. Mostly it's an incentive to build them. However, that would need to get approved, naturally. 4.gif

    ObladiOblada - Thank you and I did not miss your request, I should have a price for that some time tonight. In the mean time, I need you to choose a Parcel in which you'd like the opposite ferry terminal to be located that was we can get pictures and photo's of that... Also a direct link to the BAT you're requesting would be really nice! The School and Hospital are free of charge (UNLESS you want me to use a BAT) as they're provided by the city...

    jacqulina - More pictures of the city and details will be coming soon, Update 7 is haulted off until I'm done with Exams, I might do brief story updates in the mean time however... 

    lilmanjs - Great Bargain Great Buy, should you desire to expand your development or simply start a new one, let me know...

    iamihop11 - Honestly that Update, I began working on around 3:00 P.M. yesterday and was working on and off on the figures until 5 P.M. which I had to leave and go to school, got home at around 10 P.M. in which I finished the figures, read the requests, took photo's and added them to photobucket, and actually the longest and hardest part of it was posting it because the message board has difficulty using table formats and excessive images. It took me until around 4 A.M. to get it all right... You do desire the Schop Institute to beable to be used for user created developments? Lets say so long as it has aquadate points, it will donate 5 Point Grants towards recreation so long as they're biulding a park that is 6 tiles or more?

    MPTC - On second inspection, I realized you have 75 Points... I'll make a deal, I will complete this entire project since you a relatively CLOSE to the point cost of completing the entire construction so long as you don't mind being in debt of -34.9 Points for a moment... Do you want me to proceed with the entire construction? or just phases?

    I'd like to build some commerical stuff in the same area as tuckaway place and about the same size if that's not too much trouble. name the commercial stuff downtown tuckaway please.

    I have discovered one small flaw in my design and that is how would my sims get electricity?

    Yoshiisland - Awsome! The citizens of Newark and Soni will be VERY pleased. Your work will power the foundation of Newark, a very important role you're playing! Keep it up!

    lilmanjs - Won't be a problem. I'll label it on the map as Tuckaway, it'll be as known as a suburban city and when freeway signs are produced, it will be shown at Exit 0.

    MPTC - I'm likely going to run a set of High Tension Power Lines near or through your development as ObladiOblada will also need them in his development in Parcel 4 and yours just so happens to be directly in path... Also before I give you your deed, what do you want to name this project?

    Thanks Need4Camaro. I would love to begin development on Linaton. The beach can be added later. Also, although it isn't much, I would like to donate my remaining points to the Schop Institute.

    And great work on the CJ. This must take a lot of work!

    MPTC - Got it! Your deed is coming right up! Also I need to know, did you have anything in mind for the terminus of the East/West Connector? Maybe a Lantia Parkway? If not then I'm going to call a civil meeting to ajourn whether the East/West Connector should be expanded, degraded into a surface road, or left where it is...

    2nerdy4u - You have no idea 2.gif... ...I've developed a system and use excell to do all the math so it's not super hard, just very time consuming. Your deed is coming up!

    Thats the freshest map Amerikaner and even has the most up to date population, which is 10,000 sims higher and I havn't sun the simulator very long at all yet...     Next up... Western Newark is experiencing tremendous growth, lets have a look to see whats going on!

    It appears developers are buying land left and right in the western Newark area. We'll be seeing new farms, homes and shops populate across the major corridoors of Newark!

    Two suburban cities were formed, first being the appearance of Tuckaway and not long after, Lantia... Both entering their development and constuction phase. Engineers are still deciding upon what to do with the East/West connector's terminus. First, we'll have a look at Lantia, the newest development...

    Construction crews are working around the clock to pave streets around highway 2 and the beach. Soon the power company will open the channel to the power lines and the area will be fully powered and ready to develope... The East/West Connector and Highway 2 Intersection will likely be upgraded into a traffic light controlled intersection. The presence of the East/West Connector makes commuting from here to Downtown a breeze, avoiding all of highway 2's major intersections.

    Moving along westward on Highway 2, many streets are close to finshed, others are still beggining. construction is moving along smoothly however so there's to be no expected delays! And finally... Tuckaway opens space to biuld a downtown district.

    With that said, the western Newark area is booming quite nicely and might find the economic boom that Eaton faced during its early stages! Engineers are working around the clock designing an efficient highway setup to reach between Lantia and Tuckaway, rumors have it that the East/West Connector will be expanded... but there's no gauruntee's...

    Now... Lets check out the Eastern Portion of Newark where the new founded town of Linaton replaces a portion of Millidgeville, on the North side of the Oconee river...

    While construction crews have been working ambitiously on the new Talliup Corner close to downtown, the private company who purchased and tolled the now renamed "Union 93 Propaganda Bridge" (South Island Bridge) have formed an contract agreement to complete the Lina Park Development so more focus can be concentrated upon completing Talliup Corner. Talliup Corner is currently going through minor difficulties as many investors arn't keen on the frequent power shortages in the area, however the Mayor promises to have this issue resolved immediately. In the mean time... A contract to buy LinaPark and a new development from Millidgeville has been set and a new small town by the name of Linaton is born on the brinc of Highway 2...  Much like Millidgeville, today it exists only as a smaller farming community, however the private companies seem to have big promises for the future...

    ...The streets from Lina Park have been broken and are currently in process of being expanded into the new downtown area for Linaton! It looks to be a promising settling...

    By the way, everything within this Parcel that is north of the Oconee river is considered to be Linaton now... you still have to purchase tiles however to earn points or biuld on them...

    *EXTRA POINT TIME!*

    Two simple requests for an easy 10 points

    #1. Since many of you are now investors of the Newark Region, I ask of you to create a private company name. It can be as specific as a "Newark TurnPike Corporation" who only deals with tolling highways or bridges, or it can be as wide and open as you like. This is to help me keep track of who biult what, and also in the storyline I won't have to keep saying "private company"... It'll emphasis you... This is worth 10 Points but isn't necessary, and I will still refer to you by your usernames in normal circumstances and even in the region map view if you desire.

    #2. Private message me the answer, Don't post it here...Simple Question... What is the name of the rail line that borders the new Linaton development?

    MPTC - Okay, I have a list of options for you to consider below... I'll go ahead an name it Lantia Pkwy because it obviously directly connects into your suburban area... You just won't earn points from it until you purchase it... Also ObladiOblada wants to biuld a ferry station near or within your city... would you like me to put the actual station INSIDE Lantia?

    ObladiOblada - Cool I'll have photo's and your deed by tonight or tomorrow... 

    Thanks for the company names, Also you can host more than one company and have company's purchase land, biuld highways, whatever you wish them to be based on... and they will collect points upon their own entities... For instance Obladi can have three companies in which one can have 60 Points, another can have 20 Points and another can have 30 points while Obladi himself has 45 Points... And he can swap points between companies...

    Lantia Pkwy is Extended Northwest from the terminus of the East/West Connector as a divided highway with at grade intersections. The project will consist of...

    - Extending Lantia Parkway N.W.

    - Routing an Additional Access Road for Tuckaway across Lantia Parkway.

    - Biulding a School accessable by both communities.

    - Biuding a Hospital and a Hospital ring road, accessable by both communities.

    - Construction of a traffic light at Highway 2 and Lantia Parkway..

    Highway 2 will be relocated further North along with the South Shore Rail Line to make room for a new interchange with the East/West Connector. The Intersection will be eleminated on the old Highway 2 alignment along with the old portion of the South Shore Rail Line. The East/West Connector will feature a small expansion and will convert into Lantia Parkway after Exit 0. Lantia Parkway will be a limited access freeway much like The East/West Connector. which will continue North/West, featuring an unnumbered Exit for Tuckaway. Lantia Parkway will continue as a freeway without Exit Numbers until the entire freeway alaignment of both the East/West Connector and Lantia Parkway are assigned a Number by the DOT. The plan will consist of...

    - Realligning Highway 2 AND The South Shore Line Further North... The old portion of Highway 2 will not be destroyed.

    - Removing the intersection between Highway 2 and The East/West Connector.

    - Expanding The East/West Connector North into an all new interchange for Exit 0. 

    - Construction of the new interchange.

    - Lantia Parkway will continue from Exit 0 as the East/West Connector's Terminus, Constructing an allaignment North West.

    - Relocation and construction of a new High Tension Pylon for the Powerlines heading south.

    - New interchange will link Tuckaway place to Lantia Parkway, construction of an overpass over a local road.

    - New Hospital and School biult, accessable by both communities. Both featuring their own access roads to prevent traffic jams in the future.

    Everyone can vote and MPTC especially... let me know which plan sounds better! Extra 10 points awarded for voters!

    I prefer the second design because I feel like it's more realistic for a parkway to not be developed upon directly. Instead, in this growing area, developments will occur on the roads in that specific area, off of the exits. That seems more reasonable to me. But stylistically, it's up to the developers in that area more.

    Number 2 is the one i like best, and i would let ObladiOblada build in lantia but i would prefer that it would be a custom terminal

    Thank you for the update Need4Camaro. First things first, I would like to form the Newark Water Company (NWC), Greater Newark Area Disposal (GNAD), and the Newark Power Company (NPC), each a subsidy of Greater Newark Area Utilities (GNAU). I know I am too creative.....

    Second, I have two questions.

    1. Is it possible to build incinerators in Newarklace>3.giflace>?

    2. You point out the lack of government in Newarklace>3.giflace>, does this carry over into oversight of utilities; i.e. I can charge what I want?

    Last but not least I would like to acquire the six pumps in parcel 10 that are pictured, through the NWC. GNAD would like to acquire all seven of the recycling facilities. May I have a point table/listing for each set of purchases? Thank you.
