    _______________________________________________________

Now lets satisfy some requests, but first... I'd like to congratulate Benedict as he is now an owner of a portion of the South Shore Rail Line... Here is your deed, keep record of it!

     SouthShoreRailLine.jpg

    _____________________________________________________________

First thing, iamihop11 had several requests and I'd like to kick those off first...

... and REMEMBER, Residential Developments earn a 20 Point Grant!

    Grid 1 - F2 - Description!

    Parcel17Grid1F2.jpg

    F2 Without Description!

    Parcel17Grid1F2A.jpg

Without the description so you can easily tell where the grid lines are for your planning and interface. Just tell me where you want to live or if you want to biuld your own house, mark the area and send it back, and we'll go from there.

    Grid A1/A2 Overview!

    Parcel17Grid1A1-A2.jpg

this is the overview from Grid A1 and A2 just North east of downtown, I'm going to post closer zoomed in views this way you can be more precise with planning...

    Grid 1 A1

    Parcel17Grid1A1.jpg

    Grid 2 A2

    Parcel17Grid1A2.jpg

    - Now lets move further west into A4 and B4 both off of Hwy 35.

    Grid 1 A4/B4 Overview!

    Parcel17Grid1A4-B4.jpg

    Grid 1 A4

    Parcel17Grid1A4.jpg

    Grid 1 B4

    Parcel17Grid1B4.jpg

Take a carefull look at these photo's and draw the area you want developed and give me a description of what you desire and we'll go from there!

    ___________________________________________________________________________

    MPTC's request is next!

    Parcel 3 C6/D6

    Parcel3Grid1C6-D6.jpg

This area is located with great convinience off the East/West connector and its At-Grade intersection with Highway 2. There can be no roads or streets intersecting the E/W connector without an interchange with the exception of Highway 2 as displayed. The South Shore Rail Line and Highway 2 also proceed through this portiong, making this land highly profitable Industrial land. The beach at the same time with easy access to the highway entices several to desire resorts along the coastline.

    Parcel 3, C6

    Parcel3Grid1C6.jpg

    Parcel 3, D6

    Parcel3Grid1D6.jpg

    ______________________________________________

and finally, lilmanjs's request remains last but not least.

    Parcel 3 Grid 1 E3/F3

    Parcel3Grid1E3-F3.jpg

    Grid 1 E3

    Parcel3Grid1E3.jpg

    Grid 1 F3

    Parcel3Grid1F3.jpg

There's no roads out this way so you will be responsible for supplying any development with access to the networked roads in the area. Simply copy and paste this image into your paint (or save as) and draw a detailed map on what you desire your development to look like and represent it on those tiles. You can also draw it with paint but make sure you represent the tiles. Powerlines by the way cannot be zoned over unless consulted by the powercompany for a powerline relocation. Enjoy!

Thats it for now fellow Simtropolitans, I promise updates will be more exciting than this was down the road but right now it's just one day at a time...

I can wait a week, or more. Like I said though I would also be interested in paying for then construction of any new plants so if you know for sure what you’re going to build I would like to see that.

Voulpiotis: I need the grids 4.gif.

Thanks for all the shots. It'll be fun looking at them all in detail and coming up with some stuff, but it may be a couple days.

good luck with exams 'n' such.

    jacqulina - Thank you!

Voulpiotis - Thank you! The grid was intentionally left on for this update as it was to fullfill those who had requests with a bit more reference to the land. You've been added to the score system and will start with 30 Points.

    Benedict - lol you're welcome!

CTF - Awsome, we'll wait a week and then I'll show you my plan for the powerplants!

iamihop11 - Take your time, no hurry, and I'll need it.

    ObladiOblada - Thank you!

Yay! Out of debt! I'm so excited! I think I'll be planning a little something around Lina Park soon... iamihop11, if ur interested in this sort of thing, go ahead and PM me, so we can decide something beneficial both to you and me.

Again, this is a great idea for a CJ!

    2nerdy4u - Thank you!

lilmanjs - You begin with 30 Points, you actually have 33 Points now. There is a 20 Point Grant for residential property.  So if you want a residential nieghborhood, you will have 53 Points to pool with. For every tile you desire to develop, it will cost an X amount of points (use the picture above to see how many points it will cost.) So try to develop within your point / cost range. Feel free to ask me questions if you're confused.

lilmanjs - Use the image below for reference, it is an overview of the area you requested and will give you the costs per tile for everything you should need, unless you want parks that is... If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Hey guys. It looks like the Lina Park area's about to grow even more 4.gif

I have shelved development around the East/West connector on HW 2 until the road is upgraded, which from my information sounded imminent. I have shifted my focus mostly to the commercial zone around HW 35 instead, as well as helping with anything 2nerdy4u gets going around Lina Park. I'll have pics of my proposal in the next post, although I'm not sure that I'll be able to afford it yet, as it is considerably larger than my first development, and would require buying a lot of buildings. I have one question about it, though. My current idea includes demolishing some residential buildings and rezoning to commercial, but it would zone even more new residential plots in a less trafficked area (on a side-street rather than on HW 35). Would I be able to get the grant for developing residential areas?

CTF - Yes there is a benefit to owning waste services. I'm alittle on the short side for time this morning so I will get back to you with the point costs this afternoon, I have to configure them. 2.gif

2nerdy4u - Yes, I'll try and get that up this afternoon. It'll show everything on that side of the river + LinaPark as it stands.

iamihop11 - Anything that exceeds 10 Tiles of residential zone earns the Residential Grant whether it is enticed with commerce or not. Keep me posted!

Amerikaner - Anywere you choose. If I were you I would look for a highly traveled highway that way that will attract customers, more customers = more points.

politicman - Thank you! You've been added to the score and will begin with 30 Points!

lilmanjs - You should easily have enough. I'll need you to be just alittle more specefic however. Do you want those to be Streets, or actual roads? Also from Parcel 3, D6 I'll need you to provide me a photo on where you would like to connect the road. Do you want any residents on the OUTSIDE of that street that circles the residential area? Also what would you like to name this development?

Well Amerikano is like Dolce and Gabbana in the Sim world, so putting it anywhere will bring the rich and famous in the area, is there a high fashion shopping area in the City? If not I would like to build one.

Okay, here goes. I'll say right away that you'll probably have to ask me to clarify some stuff, but I'll try to explain.

For Talliup Corner, the current "big" project:
    The color-coding works like this:
Yellow: Overall projected land to be purchased.
    Black: Building to be razed.
Light green: light residential to be zoned.
Dark green: Medium residential to be zoned.
Very Dark Blue-Green: Medium park green.
    Grey: Proposed "Talliup street."
Blue: Medium Commercial to be zoned.
Dark Red: Simply purchasing the buildings, with no changes.
Pink: Reserved parkland, pehaps to be purchased by the Schop Institute.

For the smaller project, the yellow outlines what I'd like to buy, and the white is the house I would like for my own.

If you want me to tally up the costs for these two projects, I'd be glad to save you the time, just let me know.
    (Hopefully these attachments will work)

Anyways, could I see Parcel 3 Grid 1, B5 (it was on page 4)?

2nerdy4u: Yeah, it's pretty ambitious, but potentially very proffitable and the location's pretty nice. So, sure, i think getting some shops near Lina park would be great for getting the area's economy going. You can take the lead with the project, if you so choose, and my only request right now is that we name the whole town Linaton. (Lina's a very very good friend of mine, and as geeky as it is, I'd like to name a (imaginary sc4) town after her) 3.gif

I like the fact that more ppl are getting on board with Blue Hope. It'll just get more and more realistic and cooler as more simtrop.s join.

Need4camaro, this idea was brilliant. We just need to keep up the advertising and posts.

    rock on,

Ok, I'll take the lead with the Lina Park Commercial Development. I'm glad too that this is getting more people. It's a wonderful idea...
