NAM Question

I recently started utilizing the GLR/ Avenue dual Networking pieces in the NAM, and have hit a bit of a snag. I took the main avenue of my city and replaced it with the dual  networking pieces to ease traffic a little. The residential buildings along the new network, however, all display no-road-access  zots. I've had this problem before with one of the avenue bus stops I downloaded, and was wondering if there was a fix to this problem or if I'm just doing something wrong. And on a semi-unrelated note, can you make GLR/Avenue connections between cities, or do you have to switch to subway or Elevated Rail first? Thanks

I think this is documented in the ReadMe. Residential has trouble developing with puzzle pieces as the only way to go. Provide the buildings with an alternate non-puzzle piece route.
