8 lane Highways

i know ppls highways get congested if they have more 1 million + ppl in there city. So i was wondering if anyone can make one.  Post ur comments here about this highway

I've got three things for you:

1) It's not a good idea to post the same thread in two different places.  It's considered spamming and is heavily frowned upon here.  Having said that...

2) You can make multi-laned highways already!  Download lakeyboy's Guide to Multi-Highways [here] and check it out...

3) You should also check out the Rural Highway (RHW) project, because they're working on true multi-lane highways.  Flip through the thread [here], and download it [here].  You have to register there to get it, and you have to download the June 2007 Network Addon Mod and its Essentials first if you haven't already (and you should already have them).

Well...you register for the Site and its Lot Exchange separately, and you don't have to register for both (although it wouldn't hurt at all if you did).  For the Lot Exchange, [click here] and click Register.  To register at the actual site, [click here].

Theres a giude to making a 8 lane highway using the Rural Highway Via my signature. As of now, it is the only way to do it.

you could also make multiple highways or other transprotation.

This Just in (as of yesterday)

The RHW project plans to have a 8 lane highway released in the next version. It is called the RHW-8C (c stands for compressed network)

It will be a 3 tile network, as the multi-RHW is 4 tiles wide at the minimum.

the next nam update could be awhile. The new one just came out in June, it usually takes quite a few months, you'll hear about it when it comes.
