Statistics on member geography

I was just wondering if there are any statistics or web statistics for simtropolis to see where the majority (%) of members are located like by country, state or city or urban to rural... Just a neat geography experiment that can be completely anonymous.

We DO actually have a region map of sorts. Provided by the long lost Google Trends. I'm trying to think of how reliable it is however, because it seems a bit strange lol.

That lists people googling the site I think, not where visitors are coming from

It could be is that regular english speaking users here just type the web address or have the page bookmarked. Occasional users who may not be english speakers looking for bats may likely google the name because they are unfamiliar with the site

yeah google trends was made( if you read the info page) to tell you the number of searches for the site not the number of people goign there. so unless every time everyone went to google to go and search simtropolis it wouldnt be a accrate osurce of information at all.

I remember the geo thing, I remember the controversy against it the first time, then dirk removed it and it was like everyone decided they wanted it back, so he brought it back, but then he took it down again, and I'm not sure what the reaction was.
