Welcome to The URP!

I have finally decided to upload a CJ of my region to Simtropolis. I have been working on what is now known as The URP for many months now, experimenting with designs, maps and terrains.  The URP is an independant country located on the southern coast of Portugal. (see below or here).

Heres a little teaser of whats to come over the next few weeks:

The commuter city of Milton will be featured very soon, Milton lies outside of the capital New Metropolis and is the biggest commuter town in The URP, and its only getting bigger.

The URP is currently looking for businesses wanting to open up in our great nation. Companies will be offered offices or buildings in prestigious areas of New Metropolis, to apply PM me, and your company will feature in an upcoming update. The URP is also looking for Nations who want an embassy in The URP, please also apply via PM.

Thank you for your support everyone, sorry that the next update has been a bit slow, its because we are decorating the room with my SC4 PC in, so its been under dust sheets. all i need to do now is take a few more pics so expect update 2.0 later tonight or early tomorrow.

Penguin007: Thank you Will, i haven't found a terrain mod i like alot yet, as soon as i do i'll be sure to use it. I used to like the maxis texture but after staring at my region view for a while it becomes annoying, thank you for the tip.

Firstly- I can get no sense of location of your nation from that crude map. Secondly,what kind of names are "Milton" and New Metropolis" doing in the south of Portugal? They should be culturally appropriate, the same goes for the country name. In addition, you lack standard picture size, often appreciated. You show the grid, and your pictures are either to pointless or too close up.

EDIT: I was too harsh. I must saw, however,  islands are pretty cool.

Bad news, my hard drive has wiped, i have lost alot of my recent SC4 work, i will post the rebuilding of The URP over the next few days.
