Night Version of downloaded buidings dont show

ok....simple question:

i downloaded a bunch of buildings from STEX....but ALL of them dont show a any lights at all at night. For example the 2IFC from STEX..i m pretty sure there is a night mode for the building...but i just cant see its light during night.

At first i thought its because i use the landmark version . but the plopable version shows the same problem...and it doesn't matter whether i choose to let the day switch to night automatically or i select night straight away(i dunnoe is there any significant difference between the 2 choice?)

BUT...i did get the highway spot lights working very well..on the other hand.........SO WHY NOT MY BUILDINGS HAVING LIGHTS?

(pretty sure there is electricity)

i have the same problem. You can try to go to official sc4 site and in help section download update. That could help you,but didnt help me. Now it shows plugin 12 isnt on my PC

If you have properly updated the Rush Hour/Deluxe versions of the game, and installed the "SC4update4BAT.exe" from the simcity.ea.com web site the lights should work. Sometimes it takes a game month or so to start. I don't know if you need the display options set to high or not, I think not.

sc4updateBAT? I havent found file like that . This could be the problem. Isnt it inside the update pack?
