Sim City 4 HUGE city Metropolis no cheats, downloads or mods

This is a HUGE sim city.

Metropolis has well over 1 million inhabitants. There are 600,000 commercial jobs and 60,000 high tech Industry jobs.

The city has a fully functional elevated highway system that is supported by a complex road, bus and subway system. The city is powered by 3 hyrdrogen power plants and 7 large water pumps.

The video is to show a great city can be achieved without using cheats or other enhancers.

without using any mods , i would say all you can really do is heavy maintainence, like trying to improve the lifestyle and wellfare f your cities. De-zone certain areas to reduce the streets so that you can zone for larger buildings, slowly decrease taxes to incerease demand. But frankly even with mods you've a;ready possibly achieved the optimum (not maximumm) capacity of that land. I had the same stats as you once. Then i decided to downloaded fixes andrealistic mods to improve it. Thats the best way.

you used cheats, those highways are all in a straight line meaning you planned the city out since the begging witch cost allot of money and you never showed the demand bar

nice city btw simmy, w/o some sort of mod or cheat it will be hard to keep that way, but impressive none the less

I planned my city from the beginning without cheat, it's called start the city, build the center, wait until you have at least $500k, THEN build the highways,etc. Besides, that city in the vid was built on easy, anybody can do that.

I never used any cheats/mods. I had highways in the surrounding cities which I brought into this cities. It was only later in the cities like I connected all the highways up with clover highways. 

Accumulating 1,100,000 sims takes along time and by that time I had plenty of funds to build it.

This whole region was planned specifically for me to build this mega city.

I didn't use any mods to help me build this.

If me showing the demand bar would prove this to you I would be very happy to make another video.

Well, I used cheats and modds and I plopped every commerical building in my City of Longridge. (Population in my signature)

That city you linked to showed is very generic and unoriginal.  Granted you may have done it without any download or cheats, but I just don't like it.  Try making it look more natural looking...example: your highways are very straight and ugly, make some curves.  Sure this doesn't make it easier to grow the city, but it makes it more personable.
