today i´ve built a part of a river that is winding trough the whole area
and i´m tried to built a small part of downtown burbs with a straight grid, you can see this also in citys like chicago , indianapolis , fort worth and i think many more,








not a big step on building this city because yesterday i had not enough time

The Tower on this picture is a part of the medical university complex of grand plaines

the tower is a commerce office buiding. The Tower is the second tallest tower of the world outside of a CBD after the Williams Tower in Houston

and also you can see  typical street that runs out of town with some small stores and big malls.

looks nice, wonderful suburbs but I recommend you fill in the gaps with trees it would make the area look much better,

immense so far i love the curved road look and the commercial buildings allong the avenue. Keep it up this has great potential.

Hello

now i have build a small part of the southside along the river

it´s hard to build all these single family homes because people are fast without jobs

i´m try´n to keep it realistic to build industry and commerce in small parts of the burbs.

but first here is the build out Downtown of Grand Plaines 

i have added some park-a-lots, east of the stadium with a pathway to the stadium

always some Condos was growing up as you can see

and here is a night shot

so now here can you see a lil bit from the southern part of the city

in the middle you can see the highway only build with oneway roads and puzzle pieces for the bridges and on and off ramps

now here are two region shots

the first one is the satelite picture the second shows the transportation map

hmmmm, looking wonderful. it kinda reminds me of a cross between Domeston and Selkirk. im probably going off on another tangent now and they probably look nothing alike but its just my opinion. and i think that anything that looks like those cities has to be good. keep it up my friend, hope to see many more great updates

So a part of the southern beltway that run in the near future around the plex

you can see some suburbs and a portion of midrise office building along the interstate

and here is the gigantic massive mall south of the interstate on the north you can see some burbs :-)

I use the Colubus Terrain mod from Cycledogg the other regions beeing the old maxi terrain

OH my its lookin awesome my friend, there is a mod at simcity central that will give you the whole region view, its called region census i think...im lovin all that transportation you have there and those crazy interchanges...i myself im becoming more fond of the one way streets over the highways lol

Wow, your region is growing very fast !  Great work on the highways and the suburbs, quite realistic.  If you're looking for more variaty in your suburban buildings I would suggest you check out some of Simgoober's BATs.  He's made a ton of real world bussinesses and even a mall that would look great in your suburbs.

Also, be patient with getting responses, it takes a little time for your cj to build an audience.  Though one way that would help would be to respond to the comments by the readers in your cj.  Your new to the site, so that's an understandable mistake, but almost every other cj author will respond to the comments they recieve, which allows the readers to know that you appreciate there comments/encouragements which will in turn make them more likely to respond again in your cj when you have a new update.
