Linking to the sister site

I had a though just now. Simtropolis and Sporeum are sister sites, run by the same administration, yet neither provides a link to the other.

Might it be a good idea to put an additional item on the top bar (Home, Forum, Live Chat, etc.) of each page linking to the other one?

If nothing else, it might help generate traffic to Sporeum, which has been online for almost a year but has yet to reach 1000 members... rather anemic considering Simtropolis reached 10000 in six months....

That could help drum up some Sporeum traffic.  Although, seeing as how the game isn't out yet, I'm not too surprised that we haven't reached a thousand members yet.

Although, I did personally bet that Sporeum would reach that mark within a month of its founding.  Holy crap, was I wrong.

Sporeum already has that nifty black bar going across the top. A link to Simtropolis could be placed there, and a similar bar could be placed here on ST.

Well, I am of two minds on this.  Since Sporeum is not released, the site is really anticipatory.  I am a member there, but I hardly go any more because, frankly, it is really running out of things to say that are relevant.  On the other hand, I would like to see more traffice over there because of my first objection.

Linkage is probably not necessary right now since Spore is still quite a ways from being released... I'm a recent member... but I won't be really active until I get my hands on the game itself.
