Just bought the game. How do I make my enviroment polls higher.. they seem to be dropping. And any tips on how I should start a city off so I can get the hang of it. any tutorials anywhere? thanks for ya help!

Hello and welcome to Simtropolis.

There are a number of different tutorials in the Omnibus section of this web site.  So you might want to check that area out as you are learning the game.

To answer your question, here are some ways you can raise your environment rating:

1.  Reduce air and water pollution

2.  Plant trees, parks, etc...  but be careful so that you don't spend too much money

3.  A lot of people put their dirty industry and power stations in neighboring cities.  That way the pollution generated by these zones don't get into the main city you are working on.

I'm sure others will add to this.  So definitely check out the tutorials in the Omnibus and post again if you have other questions.

It's very hard to maintain a positive enviroment poll and have a big city. I usually tax the demand out of the dirty industry to help reduce the air pollution and get rid of those ugly looking districts

The environment bar is ridiculous. You basically have to have no dirty industry, or if you want it full green, roads.

Camille Meadows is perpetually mad. Don't worry about it; your mayor rating should be fine.
