Now on With My City Journal..........

Friday 17 June 2006

The last words i remember of my family is "Bon Voyage" as i set flight to Valencia for a vacation or if you would like to call it an OE (Overseas Experience).I Heard the turbines of the so called plane power down i suddenly noticed nothing was beneath me, a sort of empty feeling or it was just my stomach. The intercom came on and and the captain announced we were landing in a few minutes.I gazed out the window and looked but couldn't see anything but thick smoggy cloud.I turned my headset on to what sounded like deathmetal the sound went through my whole body, i quickly turned it off.I gazed out the window for a second time to my amazement i saw land, there was something different about this land than my hometown.

It was much more cleaner as though it was undiscovered territory, at that moment i wish i had a camera but the flight attendant did not allow it.

we continued flying through the dense forests of Valencia.

alaquas2un5.jpg

An ill mannered kid in the plane shouted out "were gonna crash!!!" i ignored him although others didn't, one man told him to shut up i had a chuckle to myself after that. The captain announced again that the runway was in sight and the flight attendants were to do before landing procedures.I continued looking at the scenery.

Unfortunately my flight was near completion and the scenery ended but an overview of the city really made me want to explore all the wonderful sites.

Hey there welcome back, i will do the replies to your previous comments at the end of my updates.

    Saturday 18 June 2006

Last night was easy i slept in a the airport hotel but i am going to go to my apartment today hopefully its just as good as the photos online.

alaquasmay1101118275877uc9.jpgAs we drove past i thought to myself this was a nice area and the constuction site caught my eye so i took a few more shots of it.

alaquasmay1401118275878bu7.jpgI also admired the scenery and the canal that was in development

alaquasmay1701118275879qm4.jpgThe taxi driver quoted "theres your apartment mate" i replied with a brief thanks and a short smile that seemed fake.

alaquasjun1702118276021zb0.jpgMy apartment at night. I would get some shots of my inside but i am to tired right now i just want to sleep.................

the shopping centre and the other buildings in the area are pretty nice. i like cities, which include trees, but in your case, there too much. in my opinion, it prevents the city to look like a city, until now.

    you know what i mean?

    however, nice update
