lol yeah sorry bout that.  but no i DL the RHW and after that is when i started to get that.  it only happens on HW and avenues.

when trying to connect multiple interchange pieces (especially those T-Xchanges... each piece must have at least one (1) Hwy piece, other wise they will not connect properly...

for example: when you first initially placed the exchange.. drag the appropriate Hwy pc (in this case: ground-to-ground "T" near the center of your screen. Drag Hwy a couple of tiles, then bulldose back UNTIL you get one piece attached to the exchange.

ok sorry but that dont work either. ive deleted all my pactches and plugins and still getting the same thing.

thats a bit odd, Gfx card possibly? or maybe your Comp. is having problems. the Angles for your Ave.s if a bit too sharp, to be lined up properly.

ati radeon x 300 se, pentium 4 3.0 ghz with ht, 512 ram, 200 gig hd. ive never had this problem till i downloaded the RHW.

Lol! Anyways.. At what point should anyone put in a highway at all...? When the avenues start filling up with lots of red traffic-congestion..? Or just as a means to travel between cities..? Me: 1-2 weeks old simcity4-player

Welcome to Simtropolis, Uberupert!

Since highways are somewhat expensive and mass transit such as subways can often be much more efficient, I suggest waiting until you start maing out you capacity of other roads and avenues. Be aware, though, that even though you put in a highway, if the existing roads are a more direct route, you'll have some expensive unused highways since the idiot simps will avoid them to take the most direct route. Also, if you plan to install highways at some point in your cities, I would advise always leaving room for them so you won't have to bulldoze existing buildings, etc in order to have room for the highways and interchanges. This will also come in handy because you can build your city with future highways in mind and therefore have them strategically placed so that when you do build them, they will be a route that is direct and has good access so the simps will actually use them when they are built.

I had this same problem in one of my cities. Just relay all of the transport networks, and/or bulldoze them.

I think you might be missing textures from the NAM. Do you have turning lanes installed?

no its never done this b4. i downloaded the rwh and then there it was. the high way was there. i was putting in a road and wanted to raise that section of highway and thats what happend

This happened to me whenever I first tried installing the NAM. You don't have all of the files, so go to another website and download the NAM in full and then replace all the old NAM files you had. It should work after that. It's definitely not your PC/MAC or your graphic card
