Just wondering who around here is graduating this this year (I'm thinking high school.... but college of course counts ) What are your plans for next year? How do you feel about being done with school?

I'm officially done with High School as of today, although I don't actually graduate until the 15th. I'm totally excited, but will miss a lot of my friends who are going to different schools.

Next fall I'll be attending UConn and studying elementary education (gonna be the cool guy at the elementary school that all the kids want to get for a teacher )

Congratulations Kevin! We look forward to seeing your graduation photos! Good luck for college, Elementary Education eh? The shaping and moulding of the minds of our next generation is an incredibly worthy calling - and there are some very lucky kiddoes out there who will get to have you as their teacher!

I'm finally making it out of high school this year too.  Well, wait, I'm actually out now.  I'm free, I'm free!!!   (My school was a nuthouse and I'm glad to be out.)  This fall, I'll begin college majoring in electrical engineering, and getting a background in computer science too (possibly focusing on AI learning theory).  I've always had an interest in designing stuff, and would really like to be one of the guys designing the equipment that people use in their computers.  I've also had an interest in robotics and artificial intelligence (I find things adapting to their environment interesting), so I could possibly work for a robotics firm instead of designing computer components.

I've finished secondary school, i only go to school now for exams and all i have left are 4 GCSE exams and its all over.  Then i'm off to college in september to study engineering and computing

Im "graduating" high school now. However, here in the UK, we leave compulsory education at 16. Im off to college in September where I will be studying Politics, Photography, Geography and Philosophy for my A Levels. Ive got quite a few exams left so its not quite over yet.

We didn't have a traditional photo done but these are my friends. Im the ginger one lol

Congratulations to all of you!  You have so much to look forward to I'm slightly envious of that!  (I graduated from high school 41 years ago!)  

If you'll accept some advice from an old lady, This is it, you don't get "do overs" so think about what you're doing especially when you're "just hanging around having fun" as you don't want to do something stupid that could end up costing you all your dreams!   Celebrate your accomplishments, learn from your mistakes!  Most of all, be true to yourself!  Don't let "peer pressure" cause you to do something you would never otherwise do!

Enjoy every minute of your life!
