keyword search won't work.

I don't know if this problem is already being solved, but i can't use the keyword search to find some  files. That means  i can only browse to the recent additions, and that means i can't get 
to the other files, the older files, since the recent additions only go up to ten pages or so. I hope that this problem can be solved (if i'm not the only one with this problem)or else we might have lost a huge amount of quality bats and mods.

ditto here too, keeps telling me that it's going to notify the webmaster about the problem. It only happens intermittently, but it's getting more and more common for me now.

Using Firefox/2.0.0.4 under XP SP2 fully up-to-date, I have no problem.  Check your firewall.

I have everything up to date, and even turned off my firewall for a sec. just to force it to work and it still gave me an error message.  Is something being updated today?

The Search in the STEX is becoming a bit unstable lately after implementing the new search engine. The search service process crashes from time to time and I'm tracking down the reasons why and how to make it more efficient. Thanks for your patience...
