This Summer's Trilogies

We all have seen these great movies:

Spider-Man

Shrek

and Pirates of the Caribbean

But which trilogy was the best?  Actually, none of these stop at the third.  All of these go on to a fourth installment of their series.

Spider-Man 4 actually is under debate, that was pulled by Toby Maguire.  He's not so sure about it.

Shrek 4 was in production before Shrek the Third was even released in theatres.  The money that Shrek the Third made helped a lot, and only further infuences Dreamworks to make another.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Fountain of Youth started in production a week ago.  Kiera Knightly, Orlando Bloom, and yes, Johnny Depp will all be in it.  Pirates 3 made more money on Memorial Day weekend than any ther movie before it.

But the real question is, which one do you think is the best?  Take your vote, and feel free to post a comment or two.

P.S. Yes, I've done the research.  All of these, (Excluding SP4, which is under debate), is truly about to become a quadrilogy.  Trilogies are no longer "the style".

I have seen all of these movies, and I can say, that in my personal opinion, Pirates is the best.  If you haven't seen it, go now!

I love them all, the only third one that I haven't seen yet is Shrek 3, but SpiderMan 3 and Pirates were so cool! Glad to hear a new Pirates is in the works, I love those films.
