SC4Tool Bug with Vista

Hi,
I used SC4Tool on my XP laptop perfectly fine and then I downloaded it onto my brand spanking new Vista PC. All goes well until I do something in one of the editors. For example, I open up the exemplar editor and hit 'Open' and then.....

 - 3 new blank SC4Tool Windows open up with nothing in them 
 - One of these windows keeps closing and re-opening by itself
 - The little 'Open" drop-down menu stays on top of all other windows until I shut down SC4Tool.

This is a bit upsetting really because I find iLive Reader a bit hardcore on the hex. Changing building values on SC4Tool was really easy, to the point where it was actually 'doable'.
Anyone know what's going on ?

Make sure the program's compatibility is set for WinXP and try running it as administrator. (Right click the program icon, and click Run As Administrator.)

I have no problem using SC4Tool on Vista.
