Game crash while loading city

I have recently been working on a city in a region made with SC4Terraformer. Suddenly, whenever I open it, the game crashes. It was running perfectly well yesterday, and this morning, with no new downloads, it is crashing. I tried removing the plugin folder, and that just made it crash faster.

Earlier, the game had had crashing issues related to some building or another, but I removed a few plugins and it went away.

The problem only occurs with that city. All the others in the region are still in God Mode, and they work.

I'm running SC4RH with latest NAM and RHW.

Comp Specs:

Pentium 4 @ 2.93 GHz

1.99GB RAM

Integrated Intel Graphics and Audio

More information is needed.

How big is your plugin folder?

What are your virtual memory settings?

Does the snapshot of the city show OK in the God mode display?

Please look in your Exception Reports folder and post the first 20 lines (copy formatted) of the text file with your reply.

Plugins folder: Size: 995MB Size on Disk:.97GB

    Virtual Memory: 3072 MB

The snapshot is exactly as it should be.

20 lines puts me in the middle the Registers section, so I've attached a zip file with all the exception report files from this month.

    OK, thanks.

The most recent crash report says you are completely up to date and had an out of bounds fault.  This could be an attempt to access a page that should have been assigned but wasn't because you don't have enough swap space.  Please refer to the sticky above, and set your swap space (virtual memory) to 4GB both initial and maximum size.

Also do a disk defragmentation run, then try the game again.

If you still crash, try removing your most recent plug in files by moving them to a folder outside the game.  You could also be experiencing an exemplar conflict.  When testing after this point, if your city starts, you should ignore the brown boxes or bulldoze any such lots.  Remember, you can always quit without a save.

Changing the virtual memory didn't work, and I defraged last night. I'm about to test it again, and if that doesn't work I'll try removing plugins.

EDIT: I tried it with plugins in, and it crashed, and I tried it with all plugins out (Both program files and my docs) and it still crashed. This leads me to suspect that it's something to do with the program itself, so I'm going to reinstall and see if it works then.

EDIT2: My RH disk won't let me install because it can't copy Simcity1 and 2 .dat. I tried cleaning it, but it won't work. So I'll just have to stop playing that city and move to a different one.14.gif It's too bad. That city had been turning out really well.

Hey you are not alone. I have the same problem and must move to another map. But what if this happens again?

Hunt for a discounted copy of Deluxe from someplace like Wal-Mart and install from that.

You tale of woe says that something has stepped on your game files, and something bad has happened to your disks.  An unenviable thing, but ...
