Restarting after a long time

Hi, i have not [=played this game seriously for the last 2 years. i know that the game is pretty dull without any mods or addons. So i was just wondering if yal could give me any advice, on what are the best mods to make the game more realistic. 

Also  i was just wondering if there are any building packs, (where i could d/l 20, 30 compiled buildings at once), inseted of going though them and downloading them one by one.

Any other advice would be appreciated too.

the NAM is the best mod by far...and consider donating and getting the STEX collections on CD or DVD for tons of great stuff.

... and most stuff these days, ncluding the NAM, require either Rush Hour or Deluxe.  If you have the original game, you should upgrade.

You will never get board with the rush hour edition because there is always a problem to solve. Like a major traffic Jam or a lack of jobs and major cummting headaches. Welcome back

I agree NAM and even the industry quadrupler too. But most of the STEX buildings that are available for download here is top notch (kudos to all building designers!!), some even better than the Maxis buildings. You'd probably have countless hours downloading and installing the hundreds of buildings here. Have fun!

well, I can only copy what hawkpride said, get the NAM and consider a donation high enough to get the stex-collection dvd. I can't tell you how much that is, but it's wasn't to much and, what's way more important, it's DEFINITELY worth the money.

and, if you don't have it already, get the rush-hour ep cuz there's not much available that works without rh
