So, I have downloaded the Space Elevator for part of my project. My game crashes right after I click its icon and try and position it. Now I know this has to do with RAM, memoery, performance, etc. What should I do? (I have already set the Virtual Memory to 4GB, nothing good)

    Heres my comp specs:

Dell Dimension 4550 (This thing is at least 4 years old)

70 GB, only used 20 GB of it.

    512 RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce 4, 64 MB

    Pentium 4 Processor 2.40 GHz

(Note, I am in currently no position at all to upgrade my computer.)

    Thx, Cuahtemoc.

To see if it is a wierd graphics problem, try running with Software Rendering.  This will slow you down a lot, so you don't want to stay there.

I have the same graphics processor, but I did get an upgrade to 128MB co-memory.  Check Dell's site for a firmware upgrade to your BIOS.  While you are at it, make sure all your drivers are current.

Are you sure the space elevator doesn't have any dependencies? Sometimes SC4 crash when it doesn't have all the components of a plugin.
