Oh, it's good to see you've started another CJ again, FF.  It's been a while since I've seen or talked to you!  3.gif

Well, everything looks really good. I especially like the city entrance with the interesting road designs.  It looks as if you really thought this one out and it definitely shows.

Talk to you later,

DA

    mightygoose:Thanks!

jacqulina:Thanks, yes builder's block would be appropriate haha! but I find its easy once I get into a region. 2.gif

penguin007:Thanks, yes sadly Avon's railways are somewhat similar 3.gif

    patriots_1228:Thanks!

ilikehotdogsalot:Thanks, the riot was hard to get and I had to make some custom lots in the end but I guessed it paid off

    jayo:Thanks for your reply

Mike the Mayor:Thanks, I always like to show both sides of my cities. Even the crime ridden ones because its all part of the city 2.gif

Yoman3:Thanks and glad you like the rail map too, its taking ages to make but i'm slowly getting there. That is only Avon commuter too so a nation wide one will take longer

Simfan34:Thanks! heh just a little joke of mine 2.gif

DragonAnime:Thanks, and good to see you still around man, pop into chat one day 3.gif

Glenni:Thanks and dont worry lol the Avonians are a civilised bunch but i'm sure more riots can feature in future 2.gif

Another fabulous update! Again, everything is looking so realistic - this really does remind of Bristol. Great work, my friend.

Wow this is without doubt your best update so far! I just love how cluttered and gritty everything looks. This really reminds me of the few British suburbs i've seen. (On the train from Stansted to London). I also like that you managed to fill in every gap, so that there aren't huge random open spaces everywhere. Great work!

A big thumbs up. It actually feels much more urban than Thames, with not so many small towns across the region, but more like one big urban area with a few larger towns. Are you going to expand the suburbs any time soon?

How big is the region? 3.gif

    Great update as usual!

War? Like at the Falkland Islands?

Flat-top suburban houses? Are they yours?

Good ol' Liberty Islands! Someday, I'll repost my old CJ.

Traffic lights as a result of an intersection with a minor road on a motorway??? 47.gif

Actually I am not amused ... in my personal scale of dislike this is right behind a railway crossing on a highway ... 7.gif

At least you pointed at its problem so (I hope that) the situation may change in the near future!

I do love these combinations of R$ and heavy industry, and these industrial wastelands of  Avonmouth are just great!

Very british CJ here. Maybe the best that I've ever seen. No too much politics, but terrorist crisis and "Falkland War" is tasty addition to your "boring brown british life".

    mpol:THanks for your comment

    jayo:Thanks as always!

    jacqulina:Thanks!

Mike the Mayor:Thanks, maybe I should do a Bristol based city sometime 3.gif

Mulefisk:Thanks, its the style im trying to go for, I havent been down that route myself but most suburbs are pretty similar here 2.gif

Shadow_Assassin:Thanks, not sure of the exact size but roughly twice as big. I have more room to play with this time so yes it is more urban. Also Avon follows the UK's geographical model closer than Thames. Avon is centrered around a primary city Avon while Thames was Binary (more like Italy where Milan is the business centre and Rome the capital)

dont worry though there will more more large towns to come later 2.gif

    cleaner475:Thanks!

penguin007:Thanks, I didn't realise where it was though i'd heard of it before. Many of my names are re-used though differently

    pipishere:THanks!

    manman99:Thanks for your reply

bokrifLThanks, yes this is Avon's own version of the Falklands conflict. The houses are made by Simgoober but I relotted them as eyecandy parks

    Evil Weasel:Thanks

ILL Tonkso:Cheers, yeah its Avon's Falklands war 3.gif, i'm planning to feature more famous parts from history

    Glenni:Thanks!

    E.J.C:THanks for your comment

Nardo69:There was no other place to put a junction, yes very bad I know but I have seen 1 occasion where its happened. I do plan to replace it in future but its a difficult project, but for the time being though its not a partcularly busy stretch. Glad you liked the industrial wastes though, it took me a while to get them looking right 2.gif

Amryai200:Thanks! there is much more to come later 2.gif

Hunaja:Thanks, I decided to add some major events to spice things up from "boring brown british life" as you call it 4.gif

    ilikehotdogsalot:Thanks!

Ooh Frogface, this is pleasure to my eyes! You should get a knighthood for this! The underground map is the best what I have seen and great advertising of Tonksie's stations! And yours too!
