I've been trying to get one computer to record another. And it's not working. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm using creative wavestudio. Thanks.

Well, no, I have a music video that I want to have an audio only version, and I have no idea how to seperate them. I've tried to hook up the sound output of one computer to another's mike jack, but that didn't work. And the music video's drm protected, so editing software, if it exists, won't work.

Hook the output to the line input jack.

Sounds like you should borrow a mike mixer from someone, or (gasp!) buy one.

You could use audacity, play the file whilst "Audio Mix" is selected and it should record it. Export it as MP3. Might work even if the video is protected. Or look for a copy on YouTube and do it.
