The hotel is done! Yipee hooray! 3.gif

    Where Capilano gets its power.

And, just a random shot of commercial and residential meeting up. Whoo, go sprawl go! 3.gif

Well, that's all folks! Sorry for the slow updates lately.. been busy with work and the news of the new SimCity. Exciting stuff! Hopefully things should pick up this week. Keep checking in!

    capvalcomments.jpg

Voar Tok: Hehe, glad to see you pokin' in! Hope to see you again SOON. 3.gif

Deever: Just a bit. 2.gif Plop something, I might.. if I can find something that fits. I'm so crummy at finding those centerpieces, I usually just fill 'em with trees..

    cleaner475: Thanks! Glad you're liking things 9.gif

penguin007: Hehe, thank you! They're the best I can do for a cul-de-sac ('tis what they're supposed to be 2.gif ) and I'm not too fond of those single tile endings that are out there. This works, I suppose. 3.gif

BlondeTwiggy: Thanks, and yep! And yep you darn better lol.

    Mikeaut1: Thanks, mikey!

    Yoman3: Hehehe... perhaps. 3.gif

ilikehotdogsalot: Thanks! Hope this one satisfies. 2.gif

homeandaway: Thanks! Mountain resort? I dunno.. it's risky. 3.gif

SoNell: Thank you! And technically, yes.. I used the SCTerraformer. So I didn't do it in game, but it's still hand terraformed. 3.gif

Voulpiotis: Thank you! And the roundabout is in the new NAM. 4.gif

sEAhAwk fAn121: Yeppers, and will do!

Metropolis: Hehe.. yep it is! Thanks!

    Godzillaman: Here 'tis!

Cjah: Thanks! Glad you're finding it acceptable. 3.gif

    ilikehotdogsalot: 15.gif

    Guiigg: Thank you!

    Cheese89: Thanks!

    sc4portugal: Thank yas!

    pretty sweet embassy suites 3.gif

I like the spot for that tower, it really stands out, it reminds me of a sheraton in New Jersey or all the casinos in conneticut

So that's Capilano Valley's power source. At least it's better than coal.

I wouldn't want to live in the burbs shown in the last pic. If I were to be kept awake on a school night, it would be because of House or Lost but not by traffic/vendor noise. Please!

    Nice shots BTW.

Iiit's update time! I got a little busy working today and so I thought it couldn't hurt to throw another update at you guys. 2.gif

Lets face it.. I've been converted into a mosaic fan. 3.gif

    church.jpg
And just another quiet church near the highway on the edge of town.

That's all for today, folks.. just a small one.

    capvalcomments.jpg

patriots_1228: Hehe, thanks! Glad you like the location. 2.gif

Deever: Yes indeed! And yeah, the trees help block some of the sound pollution, but it's certainly not the Valleys most desired location. 3.gif

    sEAhAwk fAn121: No I can't. 15.gif

    sc4portugal: Thanks!

BlondeTwiggy: Thanks! And meh.. I just can't find any other commercial that suites me. 3.gif

Voar Tok: Hehe, you wish. 2.gif

ilikehotdogsalot: Thanks! A pretty prototypical highway highrise hotel, eh? 3.gif

Mikeaut1: Hah.. one of the few times you caught me without trees!

cleaner475: Hehe, yep! Some of the business districts might get a makeover soon..

looking very nice - once again My second post here within 30 mins! Very nice update - The avenue going up the cliffy bits look very nice but I can't determine why as there is nothing pretty about it.

    Anyways nice update,

    Richard

Hold on a second. The grass in the park area was plopped? Your game must be laggy if that's the case.

Anyway, that is a great mosaic. I like how the avenue climbs the hilly park so smoothly. I also like the walls you used for the park. Nice trees too.
