What Kind of airport Would You Guys Recommend A Small Municapal Airport or how eever its spelled lol or a small international airport or no airport at all   Does An Airport Raise Or Lower my mayor rating?

Upgrading an airport raises its capacity.  If your airport is overcapacity then it's time to expand.

You can tell if it's over capacity when the airplane icons in the query start to grey out (the same way a subway station will if it is over capacity).

I think airports increase the demand for Commercial.

You don't actually need an airport if you don't want one.  You can make a big city with out it.  Sometimes they're cool to have, so it's up to you.

Yes, it relieves demand caps, and probably even stage caps, not to mention the YIMBY for C out to a certain radius.

In other words, if you want a big city, with lots of tall buildings, sooner or later you will need an airport.

Take note that airports do expand (I believe it is twice after the original placing.) When the airport reaches capacity, an adviser will ask if you want to expand the airport.

I also suggest waiting until your advisers tell you that an airport is needed. One doesn't need an airport in a city until then (money not spent is money earned.) UNLESS if you want to play some of the U-drive-it missions. In that case, place the smallest airport (the municipal airport) at your discretion.

Search for RMIP and ACE in the STEX, you'll get two very good airport packs; the airports the game supplies suck .

I've already got a landing strip maxed out on a medium map, about 210,000 sims. Would it really boost commercial and industry to add a larger airport or would I be better off rezoning the land to something else?

Airport can expand... So I make a mistake by putting airport on high ground and surrounded by road. No place to expand more.

At that population, I usually have a large municipal,d epending on the city, but mostly international. your population may double, trust me.
