how to play the map I download?

what shell I do after download a map? what knid of file is needed? bmp?

1st: Put the .jpg somewhere esaly accesable. Then load SimCity 4. Go to the region where you placed the confi.bmp file (see step 3) then press control+alt+shift+r. A window should pop up. Find the .jpg file and click it. it should then start loading each city, this may take some time. 2nd: You will need a .jpg file of the map and the config.bmp, all of these should be supplied by the mapper. 3rd: The .bmp file tells SimCity what order to place the citys in. red is the small cityies, green is medium and blue is the large cities. The config.bmp file should be placed in your regions folder. then inside a city of your choice (you may need to make a new one as it will erase all cities in that region). The order of this is as follows My Documents->SimCity 4->Regions->then the regionof your choice. Hope this helps.
