Downloading lots etc

I have some questions about downloading lots and props from the exchange:
I've been downloading some lots over the time, and I try to to downlode those who doesn't replace anything else in the menu, and those ploppable, not growable. It's seem anyway that I can't find them all in the games meny. I wonder if there's any limitations for how many lots the game meny could show, or if some lots could replace each other, even though they shouldn't.
Examples: I downloaded some pedestrian road overpasses, that I can't find in meny. I don't find all the farms I've downloaded, even though they shouldn't replace anything.
I allso wonder: Is there any good way to organize those lots in the meny? It's hard to know what they all are, because they doesn't show whole pictures, and they sometimes doesn't have names, or they have different names than what the lot is.
I am not sure if you can understand what I mean by these questions, and they are probably so ***** that you don't wanna answer them.
Could anyone allso tell me if there's any important downloads I should download to have more fun with the game. When I see pictures from other's cities, they sometimes doesn't look at all like mine, and I guess it's all because of texture packs, etc..

First of all, someone will answer them. So to your question. make sure you have expanded, un-zipped (what ever its called) the file and then you place it in your plugins folder. I dont think that their are any limitations into haow many plug-ins you can have. The farms you will need to zone for, it could take a very long time for them to show up though. It may be difficult to change the order that they apperin the menu, but if you need to I belive that ilive-reader may be able to do it if you read alot about it. Important files to download are the Nam for pc or mac. And also thehole digging lots. Deffinatly get the nam. Welcome to Simtropolis.

Thanks for your answer, Hamish. I sort of know all of that, and I'm talking about lots, unzipped, placed in my plugin folder, but still, they all doesn't show in the game menu. Could for example some lot I download replace a lot allready downloaded, because they may be based on the same tile? (for example an open emptry grass field). I know the farms needs zoning I'm talking about Nexis farms, etc... Hm. Sorry. Complicated to explain when english ain't my tounge.

I think at this point you would need to tell us exactly which lots you downloaded that are not appearing in your menus. It could be due to any number of things but if you name the download and preferrably give us a link to it, someone may know what the problem is.
