Well, I was hoping someone was going to create a new thread, but nobody ever did. Anyway, thanks to dragonanime, we now have "Development around the world: part II". This is basically about new buildings, planned buildings (I can see Tonks already getting those future London photos out. 3.gif And Montouge with his future Paris photos. 9.gif ). Anyway, here are my future Houston photos. These buildings are either proposed building to be built in the next few years or are already being worked on at the moment:

Full credit for the photos goes to Trae at Skyscraperpage.com

All the photos below are from Houston and the Greater Houston Area:

Well, I was truly hoping for some more development feedback from everyone! Yes, you from Paris... yes, you from London! I want to see all the proposals everywhere... even Asia and the UAE! 9.gif

Anyway, since it's been a while, it's time to update the Houston development section:

    http://www.towrs.com/wiki/index.php/New_Projects_In_Houston%2C_Texas

Edit: I meant to add this weeks ago but never had the chance to do so.

I live in Manchester, and like London is undergoing major redevelopment. As you enter the city the skyline is dominated with cranes. Manchester is considered to be the UK's second city after London and is the world's first industrialised city.

188-metre skyscraper to begin construction sometime this year, the Picadilly Tower.

    Inacity_Manchester.jpg

The present tallest building in Manchester, the 168 metre Beetham Tower.

    Beetham_Tower_Northern.jpg

Albany Crown Tower, probably due to begin construction this year.

    Albany1.jpg

Exchange square undergoing redevelopment. At present the Manchester Eye (A copy of the London Eye) is located here.

    Manchester_Exchange_Squares.jpg

The Manchester Arndale Shopping Mall was badly damaged by IRA bombings in 1996 and the mall was rebuilt and renovated. It is now Europe's largest city shopping mall.

No it isnt Birmimgham is, and Birmingham has twice the population, and 200k  more in the metro. Manchester is 450k. Birmimgham is 1m.

I do like some of the stuff going on in Manchester though. Inacity for example. And Picadilly is an awesome station.

Thanks for your comment tonks - I do appreciate the fact that Manchester and Birmingham are very close in terms of the UK's second city.

By the way I do love your London lots - the buildings situated at Canary Wharf are my favourites, keep them coming!

Hopefully you might make some buildings from Manchester, such as Picadilly Station.
