Hi Charlotte, welcome to Simtropolis.

Unfortunately you won't be able to find city files here at ST, and you won't find many on the web. City files are huge, and would consume a lot of bandwidth which is why few sites host them.

There is also the problem of dependencies. If a city has been built and the maker has used certain dependencies then anyone who downloads the city will need to make sure they have the same dependencies.

There are a few people around who like to play multiplayer regions and swap files by email, msn or file share. You might like this kind of idea. I did a few some time ago and it was great fun. I don't know the details of any existing games or players though, but perhaps someone else here does.

There are quite a hand full of seawalls on the STEX like this one. Although I'm wondering what happened to the JRJ Seawalls V4. It's not there anymore (you know, the green one).

ok so where can I find pre-made cities; I am new at Simcity, and I'm getting so frustrated that I go bankrupt and can barely sustain a small town...If i were able to see large cities bustling perhaps it'd give me some hope thanks guys.

cool, amsterdam central station is found! thanx ripplejet, i did found it in sc4devotion.. now, i'm still looking for the Shaloya buildings, and other thing is the Assorted Pedestrian Overpasses sets by Jeronij, i can't find them anywhere on STEX nor sc4devotion..

At least Cerulean's Shaloya is in the queue for being uploaded on Sc4Devotion. Just hang on and it should soon be there. And you might send Jeronij a PM at SC4D asking about his overpasses (not sure myself why they aren't uploaded yet).

EDIT: I just asked and got confirmation from Jeronij that they will be updated (requiring rerender due to errors in the LODS) and uploaded at the BSC LEX as soon as possible.

There is supposed to be a B-1B Bomber on the STEX, but I can't turn up hide nor hair of it. Anyone else know about this? Also, some time ago, I d/l'd prop files of 4 different F-14's that I wanted to point a couple fellow users towards, but they seem to have vanished into the ether as well. Little help in exchange for eternal gratitude anyone?

Will this be a place where I can note the Hex number for props that show up as 'unknown' using the dependencies analyzer from SC4Tools, and hope someone can tell me what the actual prop needed is ? As example, Patriots Low Wealth Apts needs a texture listed as only '0xFB420000'. (I'm sure some of these lots may have had readme or dependencies lists back when I got 'em, but can't find it now.)

Hi,

I’m looking for the Extra Cheats Plugin.dll by Buggi.

 

I haven’t played SimCity in a few years, and I was ecstatic a couple days ago when I stopped back here and found that the Extra Cheats Plugin was finally available. I always wanted so bad to use Maxis’s plop cheat for this game, so I reinstalled SimCity 4, got everything set up, and went to download it, only to get a dead link.

 

Since Buggi hasn’t logged in since December, could someone who has the .dll post it here or to the STEX?  I would have posted this request in the sticky regarding the file in the general forum, but others have without reply.
