I'm really in love with your water textures Towerdude. I also made several Middle eastern cities myself, too bad we lack a lot of buildings from that area. You might have already asked that question in your CJ but, How did you made that texture? Did you combined several or is it just a nice photoshop effect? Keep up the good work!

Bastet69008; that's amazing! Very realistic, the powerline, the tourists on the beach, the guy who's car broke down and he's trying to fix it on the side of the road, it just all adds up! Makes me wanna go back to Aruba! If there's one thing though I'd say next time when you post some images make a little space between them so it's more clear where each one ends

Your works are just outstanding, do you have a CJ by any chance?

Thanks Evillions. I'm always looking at simtropolis CJs but I rarely make comments on them,so I'm just gonna say I steeped several times by your Onubis federation CJ..and I loved it! I'm a little bit sick of US and European-styled CJs and we saw several ''exotic'' CJs developing through the recent months after Suplado's famous Jargeah. I started several show-us your-cities-like threads on french-speaking sim city 4 forum toutsimcities.com

This is the link for the photographs you saw on this thread.(again it's in french)

I made others different cities in the past but I had countless number of computer issues so I couldn't really start a CJ. I now have a perfect computer and I had a huge plan for the Austral Islands (thread is on Simtropolis), but I have a lot of time-constraints due to University schedules. So I just post some pictures of different cities of different styles. If you check on the link you'll find some of my older creations, Latin/Brazilian Style cities, Arab cities, etc.

In any case thanks for your support :thumb:

Glad that you liked my works! :D

I checked your collection of cities, and they are very impressive. My Onubis Federation CJ does have a side projects section where I do the same as you, creating different cities of different styles. However, I barely return to the same style after a while. I always try to keep the side projects section fresh because building the same style does get boring after a while.

The Old Port and Alexander Park. Por Avenue was recently redesigned and looks now the way it looked in 1910, it is a very popular place to go out.

Here's Isle City, a beach town loosley based on the typical Florida vacation city.

I'm kinda liking the Soft Glow effect in GIMP, I just wish it would highlight colors other than white/grey.

Other than the way it lights up the beaches, the glow effect looks really good.

The CJ entries are broken? That explains a lot...

Incredibly well done!
