Totally forgot this is a new page so I missed your comment, but thanks! I do like that corner too.

An update is coming soon, There hasn't been a whole lot of growth, just upkeep and expansion of the el-train (which has reached every city now)

    !NEW UPDATE!

In the time I've been away, several neighborhoods have sprung up around Fairview, and the whole peninsula is filled now.

    Fairview.jpg

    Fairview-1171235789.jpg

As you can see the mass transit is getting more complicated to serve more users. The highway still isn't seeing mass usage, though roughly 100 drivers navigate any one stretch of it (Downtown Year 106 transit data)

The new airport in the Hills, which is already just under capacity, but isn't seeing enough profit to expand.

    Some info about the region

    Region population: 75,095

    Region-wide commercial jobs: 19,392

    Region-wide industrial jobs: 13,925

    Population employed: 33,317 (44.37%)

Love the rich neighbourhoods in farview, particularly the one surrounding the miniature CBD in the nightshot, also the streets with the brick sidewalks lined by trees is a nice touch, good job. Also where does everybody get those tall pine trees from?

    MarcosMX: Hey! Long time...

Perfect_D^rk: I did a search to find the files that came with the Street Side mod (where the trees came from, at least for me) and I can't find the file... jeronij must've deleted it. PM him for info on that.

    GMT: Thanks, more will come!

lucky7: Great! I'm not an SC4 photographer, so I'm just working with what I've got photowise for this region.

    jacqulina: Thanks again 3.gif

    EDIT: Population density: 2.002 sims/sq m

Finally another huge update I managed to squeeze in between homework. I've spread out quite a bit, and finished the farms in the northerna rea of the region (Ben Hills) and expanded east a bit, which in the future will be smothered in suburbs. First, here's the Ben Hills update:

    BenHills-Dec.jpg

    Houses on the hill

    BenHills-Dec-1.jpg

    My house (I wish)

    BenHills-Mar.jpg

    Skytrain stop

    Ben hills' business centre

    BenHills-Jun.jpg

the agricultural hub of the hills (sorry for the night pics, but I wanted to give a peaceful effect)

    Combined population: 18,417

    Combined commercial jobs: 2,435

    Combined industrial jobs: 747

Combined funds: $1,161,930 (split among 4 specific districts)

Oops... I forgot to take pictures of Namdale (2 cities) and Parkdale and Tillson. Here are the demographics anyway:

    City-Namdale2.jpg

    City-Namdale.jpg

    Namdale

    Combined population: 21,444

    Combined commercial jobs: 1,903

    Combined industrial jobs: 2,122

Combined funds: $645,415 (split among 2 specific districts)

    City-Tillson.jpg

    Tillson

    Population: 3,699

    Commercial jobs: 1,637

    Industrial jobs: 30

    Funds: $57,210

    City-Parkdale.jpg

    Parkdale

    Population: 3,362

    Commercial jobs: 866

    Industrial jobs: 0

    Funds: $120,523

And for a recap and to show everyone where the cities are, here are both maps for New Fairview:

    Fairview-1.jpg

    Fairviewtraffic.jpg

    Region population: 157,956

    Region commercial jobs: 32,474

    Region industrial jobs: 24,874

(Just for fun) Combined funds: $15,332,919 (62% of that is in downtown Fairview)

    Great job so far 4.gif

two questions - where did you get that narrow pedestrian bridge from the first page?!

Secondly, on the 4th picture of your last post, there are fallen logs near the water, where did you get those from? I see so many CJ's with them and I just cant' find them on STEX, I'm guessing it was part of a tree pack, but I have every one of those...

Thanks! The ped bridge is part of the ped mall tiles which comes with the NAM. If you don't have it, get it! (It's in the mods section here)

I have no idea where the logs came from... It might be something from jeronij's BSC stuff... Sorry I can't help you there.
