Hello and welcome to my first CJ Chula Vista. This is going to be a city planning CJ, It will start when I find out how to add lines and graphics. I have cheated with NAM and some BATs.

Note: This city is only one large tile. Not that I have any problems with the region. This CJ is for fun right now.I have began building outside the city. I may have another and better city panning CJ in the summer.

Here are some facts:

-Population: 41,293

-Mayor: Mayor Murphy

-Mass Transit

VMTS or Vista Metropolitan Transit System ridership: 10,000

5 lines Blue, Green, Orange, Black, and Red

-The City has some undeveloped spots so that's the planning part of it.

chulavistaoct4361167698ml7.png

This is downtown Chula Vista. Mayor Murphy needs to redevelop this area.

I will post more pics later if I can.

Half of the city is populated the other half is not. I will have to do that.

But school starts again so I don know about posting and stuff.

    Update

This is the west side of the city.

    chulavistasep2231167696fh6.png

Mayor Murphy needs to develop this area. A light rail is planned to go through here.

    chulavistadec3231167696tb6.png

VMTS gets busy during morning rush hour in the downtown area.

    chulavistasep2836116769gy4.png

Mayor Murphy's term of office start's now. Six year he will be at city hall.

Mayor Murphy released a statement at city hall. He outlines his plans to expand the city and to do other projects. These are his plans:

-expand the city outward then upward.

-build and expand current police and fire stations.

    -build an airport.

    -expand the transit system.

-get a baseball team to the city.

    -redevelop the downtown area.

Those were his plans for the City of Chula Vista.

Well I hope you liked it.

Nice start. But I would advice you to try to avoid griding to much. Just my 2 cents. But this cj has a potential to become lovely.

    Issue 1

    $.50

    The Chula Vista

    Herald

Downtown- Constuction on the Herald building is complete. It took about a year to complete the building. The cost was

about 245 million dollars. the head of the newspaper (Herald) said, "This is a big step for us. We moved from the suburb

of Riverside to downtown Chula Vista." The old building was too small for them and they had to move. "It's really a beutiful

building in and out side." said an editor. The building is located on Broadway.

    City- Mayor Sanders finishes the

eastside of the city... A1,city edition,

to find out more about it.

Hey, nice start. You've got some good ideas there for planning of your city. A couple recommendations for your CJ would be to use jpg pictures instead of png as they load much faster. Also, try to use the full 800x600 picture size alotment. Your city looks good and we all want to see as much of it as we can! Keep up the good work.

    Update time

    The Chula Vista Herald

Downtown- Downtown has seen a population boom. Commercial and residentcial is on the rise. Mayor Murphy stated that downtown will grow more. "I have been exepting about 10 new buildings every two weeks," said the mayor. Locals around Chula Vista demand an airport. Mayor Murphy said that he will build one in the city limits to accomodate the population.More about downtown's boom turn to A4.

You have a good sized downtown now. I like how you did the before and after pics, you get a good feel for the amount of growth in that area. You also have a really good road system, with the one way roads and avenues. looking forward to future updates.

as promised here's the second part.

    chulavistamar5501168143en6.png

Because of the huge population boom, Mayor Murphy proposed building a bigger

fire station in downtown. One truck can't handle all the people in the area.

    chulavistamar1250116814bs8.png

Here is the new fire station. Now three trucks can handle the population.

As Chula Vista grows, the crime does to. Mayor Murphy proposed building a bigger police station in the area.

    chulavistaapr6491168143to7.png

The old police station with 4 cars serving downtown.

    chulavistaapr1449116814gn9.png

    New one with 6 cars.

    chulavistaapr2349116814lu3.png

With the boom, VMTS has a weekly average ridership of 15,000.

well I hope you are happy with this. Comments either positive or

negative are very appreciated. Thank you

Another good update. I like how you've mixed transportation systems. Good not just to rely on roads.

Pretty cool! Only thing I would say is it is definitely lacking custom content. You have the city planning and developing down, now you just need to bring in some BATs to really make it realistic, and personal.

    Still, very nice start!

Giligone- roads would get congested without any Els

Hawkeye9- Your CJ will be my fav.

MayorTim- Thanks. BATs will come up when downtown grows. Chula Vista is too small for tall buildings.

on a side note. The city planning has began. I now found out how to insert colors and stuff.

Please comment. I would like some feedback.
