How do reduce pollution?

I wanted to download a Super Park Mod but the Patch program said an error occured. I was wondering if I there are pollution cheats as well? Also are there highway mods so I can build bigger and better expressways? I'm new to these mod files so if anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is a cheat for lowering pollution. Bring up the cheat menu and type in "Flora".

looking for radical stuff to deal with pollution....go for Ralphaelninja "the Modd Father"

his stuff is radical and works...plus in the modds and download section he has the Radical ordinance v2 modd...it combines a lot of different radical mods you toggle on/off their effects through the in game oridinaces,

there are many other radical to slightly radical stuff to deal with pollution on the STEX...too many to list

if your looking for non-cheat methods you be looking at different parks (flower garden stastisticly is the beast of the MAxis ones) and lots of trees...and using the tax rates to discourage manf and dirty industry in the town, in combination of having  garbage exported and power supplied by other satilite cites in the region to your city. as pollution will not travel from city to city.

Welcome to Simtropolis, BGans1982! For lowering pollution, my favourite is RAH Wat-Air. There are several others out there, but I've had the best results with this one and I swear by it. Works for both air and water. Just be careful if you use more than one pollution reducing mod or lot at a time. Sometines you can have issues if you use more than one. With RAH Wat-Air, though, I've found that it takes care of pollution enough that you shouldn't even have to consider using anything additional with it. Good Luck!

Hi can anyone explain this further? What actually "flora" code does? Does it lower pollution like chef101 said?

I dont like cheat codes but if this one lowers pollution im willing to give a try. Maybe it 'adds' more flowers and trees to the zones and streets?

BGans, the reason why the error occured was because u didnt choose the rpatch's directoryas C:/Program Files/Maxis/Sim City 4 or wherever SimCity 4 is located. Then again, 'Flora' can help too.

I strongly recommend avoiding items that use RPatch.  Patching the executable is just asking for later troubles.
