Tiger and Frame Rate

Hey All,

Today is the day where we all get what we have been waiting for, TIGER. I was wondering for those who have upgraded what they have noticed in performance in Simcity or in General.

Hello..... I don't really see any differance in the game with Tiger installed, everything is working fine. JPJ

.... I just installed Tiger on my PowerMac Single 1,8 G5 with Radeon 9800 256 Mac ediction and finally the screen redrawing and zooming with Rush Hour is now faster .... more faster than panther ....

Anybody notice the same thing?

I have a dual 1.8 G5 with 4GB RAM using a Raptor HD, the graphics is still the basic GeForce FX 5200 (short of cash at present)

Remember that SC4K can't access dual processors or 64 bits either

I am in no doubt whatsoever that SC4K has benefitted from Tiger, screen redraws seem much better

I haven't put in much time into SC4 since installing Tiger but I haven't noticed either problems or improvements. The game runs exactly like it did before.

Tiger's pretty sweet, though, despite the bugs.

I have also noticed no performance upgrade at all in SimCity, although almost everything else runs much better. I intend to conduct an experiment by removing the file that Aspyr sent me and then putting it back to see if there is any difference.

Agreed that Dashboard is pretty cool.

now with tiger, when i move around the city, parts of it will stay while the cursor moves, then eventually it goes away. and it's not just the city, parts of the mayor toolbar or the mayor/godmode buttons do it too. kinda sucks.
