Problem With Tiles

For some reason (all of a sudden) when I render a new region the tile are always visible. Whether in God Mode or Mayor Mode my landscape always looks like a big piece of green graph paper. Now when I open a region that came with the game like Maxisland it appears normal. Also, I recenlty had a problem with one of my cities where the slider for Police funding would go to zero at the beginning of the month. I tried everything to fix it but the problem still persists. Sounds to me like I have a bug.  AAAACHOO!!! I couldn't find anything in the Forum to help so hopefully I'm using the correct terminology. Anyone have this same problem? Any suggestions?

Somewhere there is a setting to show city tiles. Turn this off.

Also, the slider issue is to do with a lot you downloaded that had an overly large coverage. This causes the sliders on other lots to slowly reduce.

Thanks Neddiggis. That fixed my Police funding problem. I'm so glad I didn't have to delete my city I worked so hard on. As far as the tiles go, I must be a retard because I see no setting for city tiles just city boundaries.

Good idea BIWDC. I've attached a screen shot. Hope it helps solve my dilema.

Press the "G" key on the keyboard to toggle the grid when you are playing a city tile.

That government center isn't mine. NiagaranEagle made the BAT and the lot. I simply transit-enabled the roadway underneath it so cars could travel the roadway under it.
