Oh, Twiggy, is nice to see your work on simcity 4, and all can i say is amazing!!

I love your low dense areas, all is so green and clean. This is lovely!!

And the name is great, as a Spanish, i can say that this is not Tierra de la oscuridad, it is more Tierra de lo brillante, o tierra del verde, but, i think you will show some dark pics, no?

Everyone: Thank you for your comments, I really appreciate it.  I will post update 3 on Wednesday or Thursday....

Schulmanator: yes that is what i was going for, a little town one would want to live in, thank you for stopping by again 5.gif

pickled_pig: Yes, I used all low-dens zoning in pompous so that is why.  I looked up those peg lots, I don't know if they're what I want though, the ndex ones work fine for me, except when I try to place them next to each other. They work sometimes like that but not always. of course what parking lot is perfect?? lol.  I can imagine, those poor sims trying to figure out how to get around, but Im sure they learn in time lol.

jacqulina: thank you, you are always so nice 4.gif

Alfred.Jones: I usually don't plan on taking the pics at that time, sometimes it just works out that way. but they always turn out to be my favorite pics, with that nice reddish glow.  Thanks for stopping by

    PavSek: thank you 5.gif

    sc4portugal: lol thanks

GMT: thanks for looking!  I hope to see you again 4.gif

salut221: Thanks, come by again 1.gif

luker91: yes Glenni's are some of my favorite bats, especially the little houses ! 4.gif

crazychickensc12: Im glad you like 4.gif   that is a school:

    Justanothersim High School

asturianu:  Yes, tierra del verde would have been more appropriate I guess lol, but unfortunately I cant change it now or I would . Im glad you like it my friend 4.gif

owenluby: yea im pretty unique... err... strange 3.gif  I do like those BATs, they are very nice !  I hope you enjoy them as well .

jacqulina: lol well here it is

chocolatemax285: thanks, it means alot to me, especially coming from you !

RushHourFreak: Yeah, all the spanish speakers caught that i think... err... it's kinda scarey sounding  5.gif  Thanks for commenting !

I pretty much finished Aurora... Last time I showed you it (update one), I still had a corner and the middle part to fill in.  I developed the middle for commercial and left a corner of the park intact between the highway and an avenue....  I also added some trees.  Enjoy

I really like your dusk and dawn shots! I'm not familiar w/ every single BAT creation, but I think the library shaped as a book, especially showing visitors at night  in your first entry is cool.

I'm glad you finally decided to start a CJ, Twiggy! The thing I love most about this CJ is the non-grid road system and all the greenery that goes with it. I despise grids, too! Your cities are very pretty, and I still just can't get over that snaking highway and the way that the avenues are laid out and how they compare. I look forward to more, BT!

So much color and liveliness! I love it! Sorry I didn't comment sooner! I suppose I just didn't notice. I really like the unique mix of buildings and trees, open spaces and plazas, etc, but it could be even better without that landfill in the middle. 2.gif

crazychickensc12: lol you always sound so excited, (hyper chicken? 3.gif) Thanks for commenting. i think those are jeronij's trees, they are beautiful !

jacqulina: thank you for commenting 4.gif

purpledaddy: thanks for stopping by!  that is a building by prepo, I love the night lighting on it too.

Revol: thank you, im glad you came to look 5.gif

owenluby: lol i wont, i like to keep my cj tidy 3.gif actually thats 100k in the region - Aurora itself being about 60,000.  so, close enough lol

Schulmanator: thanks for commenting!! I appreciate your support

Simen: well I still don't consider myself as good as most people on here lol

Glenni: lol well your houses aren't near as annoying as Maxis ones 3.gif i love all your bats anyway.

cityhawk: thanks for commenting! 43.gif lol I didn't really plan for the highway to look like that but I guess it did, im glad you despise them too, down with grids lol

Gecko_2006: lol well there are alot of cjs that sometimes i dont notice, so i understand, lol yes the landfill was a mistake, I made the city then thought why on earth did I put a nasty landfill in the very center?!..... But oh well 3.gif

    askiamonettbannercopypt5.jpg

Err yes the banner says askia and monett but today I only have time for askia.... will do monett tomorrow.

They are two little cities next to pompous.... All three of these small city tiles are now finished:

    tierradelaoscuridadmoneqy2.jpg

Soccer (football... Errr... whatever) is the Askians' favorite sport.  Here we see their stadium near the commercial district....

    askiaaug31061162509588cfg3.jpg

And yes I have downloaded some more hospitals lol if you're wondering.

I just realised what I like so much about your cities! It's your bravery to think outside the box- you have so much diagonal orientation! It just seems to make the cities look more open and unique! Keep up the... oblique-ness of your cities. 2.gif

Nice city! I still admire your crazy placement of roads and especially avenues, and I love that stadium! Which one might that be? Also, don't worry about the hospital because it's a nice-looking one at least! The one thing that I don't like is that I think there's too many of those red-roofed houses, but that's just me. I look forward to more!
