Question 6: Provide a picture of a farm team's arena that is associated with any team who has won the Stanley Cup.  The respective team that you choose must also have won the farm league's championship trophy (ie Calder Cup).

Special requirments: Do not use website links or anything from wikipedia. The wild west must choose a team from the Western Conference and the exploding east must choose a team from the Eastern Conference.

Example: If the Las Vegas Luck won the Stanley Cup and their farm team the Reno Repo's won the Calder Cup your answer would be accepted providing you have a picture of the farm teams arena.

pilotdaryl, i work 12 shifts and questions will come during random times throughout the 24 hour cycle. Please try to keep that in mind. Your only in last place as its done by alphabetical order. Illusivecone is still in the bottom ranks with you and until recently beebs (the former winner of the MVP) was also down in the bottom ranks...

Maybe I should elaborate on why I only answered an hour later... I'm working the night shift now at Best Buy, so my schedule is all backwards and stuff. 3:43 am my time is like... 8:43 to normal people now, for me. Since it was a day off, I lucked out that MiniMark decided to post when he did. That's also another reason why I was doing so poorly before; I'd be sleeping right through when the question was posted so I wouldn't have a hope of answering it, after 4 or 5 hours of it being up. The puck just bounced my way this time, I guess.

Updated Standings:

Question 8: A tragic accident killed 4 minor hockey players on the way to a hockey game. The organization struggled with this loss and turned the rest of the season by winning the memorial cup. Two (somewhat known) future NHL players were passengers on this bus. For the East name the player who was drafted earlier in draft position. For the West name the other player but who was drafted later.

Example: Jaromir Jagr was drafted 5th overall while Sidney Crosby was taken 1st overall. Your job would be to name the one that fits into your category. Ex. The west would answer Jagr while the east would answer Crosby.

If these players were drafted the same position (ex 4th overall) then the criteria would be as follows. The west would take the earlier pick by year (ex 1999) while the east would take the later year (ex 2004).

Game 9 will be broadcasted on Saturday afternoon between 1-4 pm EST.

Edit: I made a small mistake in which this team did not win the memorial cup. I guess the research was bad on my part.

I was gonna say Mini Mark that that team you were refering to didn't win the Mem Cup it actually shook the team bad. and I've heard some Interviews from Sackic on it and it still drives him to this day heres a link for those who were curious as it is a very interesting event in Hockey History and is still remebered by the WHL.

I don't want to complain or anything, but if beebs and I answered the question correctly, which I think we both did, then I think we should get credit for it, regardless of the mix up about them winning the Memorial Cup. Nobody else even answered, and I found the answer relatively easily, despite the mix-up. But if not, I think you should just have Game 8A rather than give everyone a tie. There's no point in giving people a point for not even trying to answer a question. Again, I'm not trying to be a pain or unfair or anything, I'm just merely expressing my opinion...that would, of course, rule in my favor...

Alright, understandable. beebs and you thundecrack will receive the win. Everyone else will have a tie as a result in the mix up. I guess the book that I used was no good for a question! I have learned my lesson not to use that anymore !

The rosters were never completed due to missing players in the game that I didn't know how to fix. Not to mention I have about 3 hours/day for this kinda stuff now. If you want to redraft, by all means go ahead... I've got no time now to keep the league running.
