    Leech10-Thank you.

cleaner475-Thanks. The riverfront is my favorite place as well. As for the bridges, I'll get some close-ups, although they're just the games default stone arch and long suspension bridges

    jacqulina-Thank you.

    2ch.net simplayer-Sure. I'll see what I can do.

    The Federation

    Daniel

I have seen many strange things in my life, but none ever struck me the way this event did. It had been about a week since anything of major signifigance had happened. I was sitting in my office when the phone began ringing. I picked it up and said, "This is President Hunter. How may I help you?"

The voice on the other end was that of the NAGC base commander. He said, "Someone just sent us a message through the stargate. I think you should here it."

    "Go ahead," I told him.

I heard what sounded like a recording of a Ho'tau. The message said, "We request that the leader of your world come to a conference to discuss the future of the Andromeda Galaxy. This message has been sent to every world possible. The conference will be in 30 hours on Mossa-Kada."

I was taken by surprise at the mention of the Ho'tau homeworld. This had to be either an elaborate scheme or what it was claimed to be.

Later that night I headed off to the NAGC to get ready to go to Mossa-Kada. I was in standard apparrel for a trip to Ho'tau world. I was pretty sure no one was going to mess with me.

    StormCity-Aug-1.png

Admittedly I was shocked at how elaborately the Ho'tau had prepared for this event. The high speed transport tubes started near the stargate and ran to a place I recognized as the Ho'tau capital. The service was exceptional, something not uncommon for the Ho'tau. I was escorted to a hotel room near one of the transport stations.

    StormCity-Aug.png

After a full night's sleep I walked down to the kitchen. I saw many familiar faces, including a few I wish I hadn't. Something big was happenning, I knew that much. After a hearty breakfast with some aquaintances I went back to my room to prepare for the meeting. My mind was spinning thanks to the fact that the last time this had happenned it had been crushed by the Kopan. The morning flew by, and I was escorted to the capitol building.

    StormCity-Aug-2.png

The room was full. I saw at least forty rulers of GA nations, thirty or so Kopan leaders, and at least fifteen Ho'tau System Commanders. This would have to be one of the biggest interracial meetings in quite some time.  I felt much safer when the Ho'tau who had called us here stepped to speak. He said, "Fellow leaders, there is a new threat to our security. Not just the security of the Ho'tau, but of the Kopan and the Torau." (Torau means Human in the Ho'tau language.) "This threat has already cost each of us many lives. I am, of course, speaking of the Luryan. They are the reason behind this conference. You see we believe that united, the nations of Andromeda are far superior to the Luryan. We wish to organize a galactic federation to strengthen our alliances." At that time a few of the people got up and left. I stayed.

Over the next hour we were able to make a map of the galaxy with the leaders that reamined. Then each race was asked to elect a planet to serve as their capital. Mossa-Kada, Atlantica, and Junero-Fera, th Kopan homeworld, were chosen.

    AndromedaMap.jpg

Over the next few days details of the federation were hammerred out. Finally, about 2:30 am, January 1, we were able to get a charter that everybody was comfortable with.

Notice:I have begun BATting for Atlantica. This has led to a slowdown in my update frequency. Also, RL issues have prevented me from updating. Atlantica should be back to its regular update frequency soon.

The  best part of my job has to be working on this beautiful planet. I can't imagine what the finished project will look like, but I know it will be awesome. I can only hope they let us stay here.

I hope you are having a great time. I miss you very much and wish that you were here. I'm looking forward to seeing you next week. Keep John safe, and tell him I'll see you soon.

    Love,
       Tom

    BRRRRNNNNN...BRRRRNNNNN...BRRRRNNNN

    warning.gif

"We have incoming," screams one of the airmen.

I shout, "Ready defensive positions, all hands." I can't believe this is happenning. Soon we see it come into view a giant spaceship, at least the size of Norej-Class Cruiser. I look up just in time to see a giant cannon firing. It is coming straight for me...

    "Kelmasho Atlantica. Kelmasho Torau."

New Atlantis, Atlantica, Feb 19, 2203

    Peter

I was just waking up when my alarm went off. Usually I sleep right through it, but today I was extremely energetic. I walked over and shut the alarm off, then walked over to my news holo station. I turned it on and began to examine the headlines just before I turned to some other stories I scrolled over to the right side story. It really caught my attention.

    Newspaper05.png

I couldn't believe it. Sure it was not confirmed or anything, but still, a brazen attack on an Atlantican outpost? The Luryan? What were the odds? I knew from what Daniel had taught me of the Luryan language that, if this was real, the paper had misprinted the Luryan quote. "Kel masho" means "We will must he," but "Kelmasho" means "We will kill."

I can't help but wonder if they are coming.

WOW!! Did you model that thing?? Where are all the 3D stuff from? You should release those starplanes! (then, I could use that in my CJ, saying that we have a visitor from Atlantica)

Nice to see another Cyberdrome rising!

Eek! I missed the movie! I'll go watch it as soon as I get back to a proper computer. 4.gif

Very interesting developments here. I as well would like to know where all those spaceships came from, both literally and literarily. 3.gif

Before you read this update. An enemy known as the Luryan have attacked an Atlanican outpost. Now they are coming to Atlantica. Their goal is to get into Atlantica's cybernetics program and take on human form through the incarnation process, so that they can take over the galaxy.

Lost City  Part 1 of 3

    Daniel

    NewAtlantisGovernmentDistrict-Ap-4.png

"We have called back every available ship, Sir," the SpaceForce General assured me. I was less than thrilled about having to talk about this. But with the Luryan breathing down our necks we had no other choice.

"Thank you. Please tell me that the A02M-100 and C02M-100 fleets are nearing completion," I said.

"Unfortunately, no. The A02M-100 is extremely hard to produce and the C02M-100 just got its design approved. I thought you might want to see it."

    C02M-100.jpg

"Nice, but useless I'm afraid. Without a physical ship, it's nothing more than a piece of paper," I said.

The General started to speak but he was interrupted by someone who burst into the room with all the energy of a school child. She was talking so fast I couldn't understand her. "Slow down," I said. "What is it?"

"We think we may have found a Jea'tel city near the Anderson Mine," she blurted.

    "Show me," I said.

    NewAtlantisMountains-Jan.6001184270938.p

"All I see is a cave. Where is this city?" I said.

"It's under the mountain," she said. "We saw only what appeared to be a shield because someone dropped a rock down there. We want permission to explore the city."

I rolled my eyes. "I'm discussing strategy for a potential battle, and you're asking for permission to explore a cave. Go ahead. NAGC 101 will accompany you."

"Thank you, Sir." She left in a hurry. I shook my head. The General was pointing at a screen showing a fleet massing above Atlantica.

    TheLuryanAttack.png

"I guess it isn't a potential battle anymore," I said.

He just nodded, "You better prepare a speech."

I drove back to my office. The entire time I could almost feel the Luryan fleet closing in. When I reached my office I called all major news networks to meet for a special conference at 1:00 PM. I just hoped that wasn't to late.

Leech10-That is a big coincidence. I hope I can make this one just as interesting.

This is my first Atlantican BAT Alert. In them I will tell you where the BAT stands. If it is in first stage production, the BAT has just a basic shape, second stage means large details are being added, third stage means it just needs some tiny details. Final stage means that it needs to be lotted and/or modded. All BATs will be uploaded to the STEX and SCEX upon completion and BETA testing.

    BAT Alert-A02M 100

This BAT is in its second stage production. Dimensions in GMAX 480x96x150. Series: ASF Spaceport

Leech10-I guess it does. Congratulations on making the 200th post here BTW.

    UpdateBanner.jpg

Before you read-Atlantica has come under attack by the Luryan just as a Jea'tel city is discoverred under the planets surface. With a battle for the fate of the nation hanging in the balance NAGC-101 goes out to investigate.

    Lost City
    Part 2 of 3

    Ke'alto

I have had many strange battles in my time in the KLF, but this was about to top them all. Half of the Atlantican fleet was away and the other half was severely outmatched by what appeared to be the whole Luryan Armada. Add to that the fact that I was searching a Jea'tel city just as it was starting, and, well anything else seems normal.

    NewAtlantisMountains-Jan.6001184270887.p

The Anderson Mining Facility was abuzz with excavation equipment. Our first challenge would be getting around the shield.

"What frequency does it operate on?" I asked.

"Seems to be a 890 THz shield. Similar to our shields," said one of the mine workers.

"So we could get in there with an Atlantican fighter ship?"

"Yes," said Peter. Then he called Daniel, "We need one E02M-100 ASAP."

Minutes later we were in the fighter. It was just a short flight to the cavern over the city, and soon we were inside the city's shield. We flew slowly to avoid crashing somewhere in the middle of the city we found a giant structure. We landed to investigate.

    NewAtlantisMountains-Jan.6001185060101.p

"Why are there no buildings nearby?" Peter asked.

A voice over our radio said, "That's a Jea'tel Magma Cannon. It looks like they used it to bury the city, and some fell inside it before the shield became operational."

"Can we unbury the city?" asked Peter.

"That would take years," said the voice over.

"What about a time dilation field generator? Could we do it in time for us to make it of use in this battle?" I asked.

"Yes, but I doubt it will have enough power to fire or even get off the ground."

"Okay, so we need a time dilation field generator and several antimatter reactors ASAP," I said.

Daniel came on the radio and said, "Okay. I'll send in our army engineering division. I need you here ASAP." He then transmitted some coordinates, and told us to meet him there as soon as we had deactivated the shield in the cavern. Doing so was fairly easy and soon we were headed to the coordinates. On our way we intercepted a division of Luryan fighters flying toward Atlantica. We fired only to draw them off their target.

    Blasters.png

When we got to the coordiantes we saw a massive A02M-100. We docked in the hangar and took the elevator to the bridge. There we saw the crew working like crazy. Daniel was flying the ship.

"What do you need, Sir?" Peter asked.

"I need two weapons operators. The weapons system is incomplete an thus when your side fires you will have very few options. A couple of old model Plasma turrets have been attached fire these at any Luryan ship we enconter. The laser can be fired at any incoming missile or unidentified ship. Aim for the weak areas," he said in rushed voice. It wasn't long before we crossed a Luryan Cruiser. I fired my side twice knocking out their shield.

    Dangerous.png

We flew past before I could get the kill shot on them. I asked Daniel, "Why didn't we finish them off?"

He answered, "We have several E02M-102 fighters to do that. Our mission is to take out thier shilds. In truth-" He was cut off by a message that came over the video screen.

    Shields.gif

"How close is that city to operational status?" he asked over the radio.

"90% ready, Sir. We're powering the stardrive," came the reply.

"Well hurry, we are about to have a failure of Planetary Shield Three."
