Hello,

The first thing to consider: is the taxes in your city sensible? a region of 0% to 7% is a good range.

Are there any business deals in your city? Some business deals reduce demand for a specific sector.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question.

But I also have a question for ST experts........ I have a LOT! Of downloads. Now when I start playing a game it doesn't last very long before it crashes.

Also when I try to open a city that I made before I got rush hour it loads up and every thing but with in just a few seconds it crashes.

    Please help me out !

I got so sick of that occuring to me that I saved both my plug in folders(my documents and program files) to CD, and then deleted all the files in the two folders and slowly replaced all the plugins one at a time and started the game every time and would play for about 20 minutes ad if no crashes occur, close the game and insert another plug in.

I found out that I had 4 lots that would cause the game to crash every single time, and I never replaced them and now I rarely ever have a crash.

Keep in mind, this took me a long time to do, because I had over 500 plug ins in each folder just about, but I am happy because the game rarely crashes anymore.

I think the issue with STEX is that there are so many buildings to download and each of them might require some sort of dependency, its crazy!! I think what a lot of people say is to have the latest props and texture to prevent any crashing. I have attempted to clean up my props folder, and I must say that once you do have up to date props, it lessens the number of crashes even though I've got 700+ buildings. I still get them but (knock on wood) there are fewer crashes.

Mike, thanks for the suggestion to add plugins one at a time. I wanted to do this but haven't had the time. But since it seems to work, I will definitely try it.

    Hijacked Thread! AHHH!

    Back to the first question:

Is it negative for all types of demand?

If it isn't satisfy as much demand of things that are in demand as possible. My problem is usually with CS$. Once you get those taken care of, your other demands should start to rise. Also make sure you have water, power, fire, police, schools, and hospitals.
