so I got a message saying I had a congested street, but then when I zoomed to it, it was in the middle of a newly developed area with no buildings to make traffic yet.  Odd... so I route queried it and look what came up!

that tends to happen when sims try to commute on a road thats not finished being built yet by the construction crew thingies or otherwise for whatever reason has not registered with the simulator yet. they go to their destination but the game hasnt been able to calculate a route yet so they sort of 'fly' the most direct route.

I would think that your freeway/tunnels are not yet functioning. listen to constantina, it will go away eventually.

sort of silly, i guess it has to do with the way the game is coded in respect to UDI which wont let you go on unfinished roads/rails. But its harmless and no big deal really.

They did go away, I think it happened because that whole area used to be 6x6 avenue grid before I demolished it.

Maybe the developers installed a "Way The Crow flies" mod. lol
