Know what ? I did move the background files also. I had a "starry" background. Come to think, It posed no problems before that. But it's to late, for me, I did a complete system install with Vista. I was on my last string of options. Have not yet installed SC4 to the PC. But when I do I will post any fixs if any. I dont remember where I put that background file. I think it was located in the Program Files Of SC4. Hope that is the fix............

After many tests to rid my situation, I am on the verge of reverting back to XP Home. It's the last thing i can think of to fix it. I know for sure it will run on XP, but good god, all the file transfers. But what bugs me is that Vista posted no problem before. Must have been a recent update with windows. But who knows.......

SWEET !!! the upload worked..... The pic is not a good example of what is going on, but none the less it shows some of the quality issues the game or hardware is producing. I dont have an ATI Raedon card, I do have a Nividia GeForce 7600 GS PCI Express installed. I am leaning towards your thoughts Gnargenox, cause on a previous update, a match was found for my card using the "Windows Update". For Constantina, what you advised me to do, to get the pic loaded, is over and beyond me. I have a hard time trying to get anything uploaded...LOL... The other pics I wanted to send were over the limit for the attachments file size of 1.0 Mb. The first 2 were taken while the game was paused. The third was taken at "Turtle Speed".

Take a look at the attached pic to see what the problem might be. I get this when using the right mouse button, to scoll across my town. I can rid it by either zooming in or out, and back again. Some times it happens alot and other times it is acting normal. Has me spellbound.....

I read the "config.bmp: How to make it Yours. It makes sence, but I still don't know where to go to actually make a region. All large squares would be great.

I have not ran into that problem. The thing I would suggest is to completly destroy all SC4 files and reload. Then hit EA.com for the updates. This is only a idea.

Maybe the developers installed a "Way The Crow flies" mod. lol

Maybe not enough demand for the second cargo ship building?

I would think that it was a dependancy. Find the plugin and destroy it, redownload the same file and see if it works. I have had luck with this method.

Same here !! One of the church plugins ground goes black, sorta like you can see underground. Ther are dependencies, but to find them all will take a while. I believe that the message " Missing Plugin" means that you might have deleted that pack some where along the line. I have gotten this also and a brown box appears that says "Sim City". Good to a Stranger to !!

I am new to the forum, and i don't know if i should post here. Some of the plugins that I downloaded work well and some don't show up at all. I loaded some this mourning, like the "Navy Ships" by whom i dont remember, they don't show up in the game. The plugin called "Additional God Mode Terrain Tools" one of many that i hoped would work does not work. Some of the files need to be extracted and run to install and some are just dropped into the plugin folder. I am running the SC4 Deluxe with all updates from EA.com. Can you help me??
