If I want to move my SC4 from my C drive to my D drive (Second of three internal hard drives) is it as simple as dragging my SC4 folder from C to D, or is it a more involved process. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanx! (I'm running short on space on my C drive, which is the reason for the move. It's the original drive that came with the comp and it's only 40Gb.)

its really easy tho.. just use START, RUN, and type "regedit" and do a "search" on your path c:\program files\maxis and change the c to a d using the "change" feature on the entry.. if you goof up you've lost nothing because you can uninstall and reinstall which you will have to do anyway, but if you succeed (which is easy) you'll save a lot of work and time.. 4.gif good luck

However, if you just want your My Documents folder on the D drive, right click on the "My Documents" folder and choose properties (XP SP2).  The first page is the Target page.  You can move all of My Documents, including the SC4 folders onto your D drive by changing the target.

When you change it stand well back, the system will move the folders.
