The Return of Covington Valley - The CJ.

The Concept of the CJ is to be an all american city. Kinda like Atlanta, Austin, and Portland. North Point as of now 11.12.06, is the commercial center of the Region. Covington doesn't exist yet. But sometime before December, I hope we'd see Covington as a booming city.

Clayton, however is home of the middle class and richest sims in the region. It is the Beverly Hills of the Valley. World Class Restaurants and Shopping Boutiques are located there. The City Centre had dedicated itself to be a Fashion, Luxurious, and Cultural capital of the Sim Nation.

One thing that I'm really proud of, is the City's Transportation Layout. I'd post pictures sometime. Covington Valley is popular for its Highways and the CCT's (Covington County Transportation) Light Rail. Rumors are that The City is Planning to make a canal way, stretching from North Point to Covington Valley (Through Downtown Covington) for the Sim Nation World Fair (Transport Accessible) It would be a tourist destination for ages, if that happens.

North Point is popular for its Education. Colleges are scattered all over it. The Downtown, is really supposed to be a University Belt. But commercial grew when students realised to transfer to its colleges. Covington Tech is the most popular one around. Modern as Ever.

Pyles is a town 6 miles northeast of North Point. It is the Agricultural Capital of Sim Nation. Fresh Produce comes from Pyles and delivers them to Covington, North Point, and Clayton's luxurious five-star restaurants. Also, rumored, that the Culinary Institute of America will have a branch in North Point or in Covington. Aspiring Chefs are looking forward to it.

----------

Region Shot, and Tranportation Layout Shot will be posted some other time. Please, explore more of this One of a Kind City. Take note, that it is voted as one of the most livable cities in the world.

Thanks, more to come.

Latest update as of August 28,

Hah! Farms? I don't know why, but everytime I start a region, I always want agriculture to be a part of it. So here are some shots:

    pylesfarms2vs9.jpg

More! A Day and Night Shot. Northeast of this photo is Downtown Pyles!

    pylesfarmszq7.jpg

    pylesfarmsnightoe4.jpg

Here's a shot of the Train Station, High School, and the Farmers Market. Go east that major road to enter route 1 N/S. North to North Harbor and South to Ravenswood - North Point - Downtown Covington.

    pylestrainstationfarmersmarketmk4.jpg

Now here's a quite small Dirty Industry site, and a shot of Route 1.

    pylesdirtyindustrymq5.jpg

And here is Downtown Pyles. Cafes, Bistros, and little boutiques are located here. A Day and Night shot:

    pylesdowntownnightcw4.jpg

Some of the middle class sims, lives here. Far away from Downtown, quiet, peaceful, and what a view of the creek. Creekview village:

    Latest Update:

North Harbor - Industrial City few miles northwest of Pyles.

Here's the Train Station, Line that goes through Pyles - North Point - Downtown Covington. The Coal Power Plant is also visible. Want to go to downtown Pyles or to downtown Covington? Take "1" South or the train. Don't fall asleep, you might miss some great views.

    nharbortrainstationgj4.jpg

Here is a manufacturing / dirty industrial water front: A seaport is gonna be built later this year. Funds are a little bit tight. The ferry terminal awaits you. The trip takes you from here to North Point.

    nharborwaterfront1ux5.jpg

Here is just a shot of two quiet little water towers. What does it do? PUMP water! And of course, a police station sits right there. We just gotta make the place safe.

    nharborwatertowersmh3.jpg

Thanks for the comments, more to come. Next update will be on North Point, just south of North Harbor. There, you'd see farms too!

Welll.....I like this CJ...its simple and those farms are well done...maybe in the future line some farms with trees all around like some farms do to provent erosion....maybe BSC farms....

Also the rail layout isn't bad with the industry....last but certainly not least is the highway....very well done and those walls just tie the whole area together....

    Good job and great start!

This region looks very Belgian, with all the agriculture where I live in the middle of it. Middle of nowhere, sigh. =)

Great start...I really like the way everything is laid out.  I think the farms are a little too square for my liking and I think they might look a little more reals=istic if they had tree borders.  Just my opinion though.........great work.
