weird lock up

Some plugin I loaded seems to cause my game to freeze, its only on large cities though. basically, every time I destroy a building, or a building pops, the avenues changes. When they change the game locks for a few seconds. this happens a lot as there are a lot of building pop'n. Anybody have any ideas which mod it may be? I have the street tree mod and the transit mod, some others too, but those are the big ones I can think of.

It might be your computer. It sounds like your computer isn't up to the minimum requirments of the game. Out of experience with reeeeeaaallllyyyy slow computers, I suggest you buy a new one (sorry, it's the only way).

sorry, should of mentioned the specs of my rig:

A64 3200+ @ 2.5GHz

2GB RAM

2x 80GB SATAII hd's in RAID0

Radeon x800Pro

I think that meets the min req's for the game

definately not the rig, but I did disable the Street Tree mod and it didn't help. Could it be the transit mod?

oh... yeah, that might meet it. Try disabling your plugins one by one and see which one it finally stops happening on. Or just get rid of all of them altogether.
