HELP!!!   I have nasty problems-  [1] Ever since installing and using the Terrain Generator (which, don't get me wrong- is AWESOME!), my "cursor markers(?)" are missing! I mean- the little green square that appears when laying, say, a transportation (road/rail/etc.) network and the green circle that appears when using the God-Mode terrain tools are gone now.  [2] Also, the little "orientation" arrow that appears when placing lots only appears now at the two closest zoom levels- making for frustrating placement of lots! What gives?!  [3] The other thing I noticed is that, since the download, the "grid" that used to just surround, and follow, the cursor (for maybe a ten-tile circle) is covering the entire terrain now- not too bad, I know pressing "G" turns this on/ off, but I don't know if that's related somehow to the other problems. Any ideas, anyone?????? Does this need to be directed to Wouanagaine or somewhere else? Thanks!

This normally is a sign of overstressed processor and/or reduced "graphics detail" .. what did you change.. the terrain generator should have absolutely nothing to do with it. The overall terrain grid is toggled with the "G" key

Well, I did go through the video settings in the menu and didn't notice anything changed- I even set everything up to the highest level, but no luck. I wondered if there was a way to toggle the squares/ circles on/ off like the grid (pressing "G")?

Wait- just went in-game and tried adjusting the "Visual Effects" button up to Med.- seems to have done the trick! Although I always had it on Low before I used the Terrain Generator, must have done something to the effects level? Curious...... anywho, ALL BETTER! Thanks for the time, SC4BOY!
