Hello once more, I am desperately in need of assistance! I don't know how to get rid of all my downloads (not getting rid of all, just about 1 gig of them) so that in the future I'll be able to get more, and so my game runs smoother. That would be useful considering I'm working on a massive project in-game. I might decide to make it a CJ. Any help would be extreeeeemely appreciated. Thank you for your time and kilobytes. Delete the files from the plugin folder, that is if you kept track of them, as some have 3 files to a lot. Before you delete them, I suggest bulldozing all you have plopped/grown in your cities. Some lots/mods with cause unrecoverable cities if not removed from the city. One important one is the Opera House Fix. If you don't lose the city, you can just go throught city afterwards and bulldoze the lots with "brown boxes".

BTW: Good luck, looks like you have something to keep you busy for awhile.

I would recommend that instead of deleting them, you just move the ones you don't want to a folder outside your SC4 folders eg call it something like "old plugins" and back it up somewhere. That way if you do run into trouble after deleting them you can restore them until you fix the problem.

The reason for this is as Tungston said. Its best to bulldoze all instances of the lots in all of your cities or you may get problems like the funding slider bug. But its really hard to find them all to bulldoze sometims, and if you miss one, you can easily fix it if you still have the old files stored somewhere.

There's one little trick to make it easier to find all these buildings to bulldoze, but it requires a good overview of your plugins folder: Delete the model file, and then go hunting for brown boxes. These can be easier to spot than a smaller building.
