Bigger Cities?

Are there any modds or is there anyway to have a bigger city? I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to feel that the biggest plot of land is a bit small and want to go even bigger. I figured someone may have found some way to increase the size. If so, can someone let me know? Thanks!!

the biggest you can go is a large city tile.

remember, the cities in a region can be interconnected.

Use region play basically. Use all the cities together as one mamoth city. Thats how all the people do it.

It's like Greater London. Think of those tiles as 'boroughs' or districts and a region as 'Metropolitan City' or 'County'
