Thank you for your kind words. I'll add Trolca Trains to my list.

Also on my list is Europian freight cars. At least I'll attempt it.

Here's one for Pegasus and his great lots.

I've been stuck a little on other projects so I went ahead and knocked out this Union Pacific boxcar set. Due to it's size, I had to split it into three parts.

Here's a Southern Pacific set. I was able to do some tweeking and cut down on the file size without losing detail. I'll rework the Union Pacific set later. There shouldn't be any visual changes.
Still, I had to break it down into two parts.

Here's another engine for the Trolca Train Railroad. It's a fictional model for a fictional road name. The model Soh3 has a few years on it.
    /idealbb/files/FETrolca1960_01.jpg /idealbb/files/FETrolca1960_02.jpg
I'll build a small roster of freight cars to go along with the two engines (Dearnen's and this one).

Doesn't look like any train you have made so far. It's excellent. Off to download.

Really like the UP and SP sets trolca. The new engine kinda looks like an old Alco Locomotive i saw somewhere once. It feels good to add some loco variety to the game.

I looked at your post in CSX lot announcements. Are your cars and train named after the company or the lot makers or both? It's obvious the one hopper is, but I justed wanted to know.

P.S. Is the lot making group named after the railroad?

The yellow engine, black hoppers, blue boxcars and gray covered hoppers are modeled after the real thing. The golden brown covered hopper is dedicated to the makers of CSX lots.

I'm not sure about why they use the name.

Thanks Trolca. That's what I though. I'll need to ask GrampaAl about the name. I've always wondered....

Instead of searching 19 pages for one answer, I am just going to ask here. Since there are so many different sets of trains, do you only download one set at a time into your plugin folder. I never see trains going through my cities anyway (even though they are used) but I would like these trains and want to see if they will work in my game. Thanks to anyone for advise on this. Great job on the trains. They look wonderful.

Trolca has three different train downloads in the mod section. For anything else like his double decker LIRR or custom cars, you will have to ask him where in this forum they are because I don't know.

    I'm glad you like them.

To insure there isn't any conflicts, look at the end of the file names. If more two or more have the same number on the end (I call them ID numbers), then one will cancel the other(s).

Example RHFreightEngineRed_10AA5500 and FETrolca_10AA5500 both have the same ID so only one should be used. In some cases trailing zeros have been dropped so ID 10AA55 is the same as ID 10AA5500.

In some cases the word original replaces an ID. Those mods replace original game equipment and only one should be used for that type of engine or car.

Even if there is a conflict, all that should happen is that only one is seen in the game. Conflicts should be rare for freight. Because the nature of passenger service, it's best to only use one passenger set at a time.

I like how it turned out so I'll start using it often. I'll put the Bay Line color scheme on my list.

For now, here's the first part of a Rio Grande boxcar set.

I think the ends should of been black but I'm not sure. If that's the case I hope no one minds them being silver instead.

Trolca, it's fine. It looks good in silver. If you will do Bay Line colors for your engine will you also do River Haven. They are my two favorites!
