Changing the SC4 Plugins directory?

I have SC4 and all other programs and files on my second partition to the hard drive (E: Drive) but SC4 still reads my plugins from the My Documents folder on the C: Drive. Can I tell SC4 to look on the E: drive in some folder for the plugins instead? My custom stuff is starting to take up a LOT of space 3.gif

Thanks for any help.

the only way you can is to tell Windows your My Documents folder is located on your E: Drive. to do so, right-click the My Documents icon on the desktop and select Properties. Enter in a location on your E: Drive into the target box. after a few seconds of XP moving files around, you should be good.

Yes, it will work, but it has risks.

If you ever do a reinstall, be sure to save it because the game will wipe this one out.  It does save the one in My Documents if you ask, during a reinstall.

I have a personal policy of not monkeying with installation stuff in Program Files unless it is absolutely necessary.

FYI, the loading order is Program Files first, the My Documents.

    Good luck.

I right-clicked on MyDocs and then Move... and I moved it simply to E:\My Documents. It does work fine btw. Thanks for everyone's help.
