First, sorry for my english, I'm swiss and I speak French...

My problem is: I discovered this site a couple of days ago and I didn't know there were plugins for SC4! I downloaded tons of them But I have many similar ones... And my menus are real mess...

I ask which are the addons we MUST have on our mac? I mean the most usefull ones... And is there a pack for a large amount of growable lots? And for the plopable stuff, I wish to know which ones are to be in my menu

I want many growable stuff, but don't want to download them one by one...

Well, for the most part, one by one is the only way to do it.  Most of the downloads here don't come in packages.

For you Mac, there are three must-haves.

Other than that, take a look around and download what you want.  It does indeed take lots of time, but it is worth it.

You don't WANT packages!! WHy would you want someone else to tell you what YOU want?????? Go to the STEX and GET WHAT YOU LIKE.. and get the dependencies only for those things.. personally I hate dependencies, so I make a habit to not get items with a list of dependencies.. There is a GREAT crew of batters out there who don't use any dependencies other than the rather nice selection available in MAXIS. On the otherhand the huge variation of goodies allows you to make your own judgements on what you would like to have.. but I warn you that you can find yourself quickly buried in junk that will quickly bring your game to a crawl when you haven't even made an intelligent decision about what you are trying to achieve.

Yeah, the STEX CD is a good option. 

Pegasus also has a CD you can get if you donate to his site.  It's worth it too.

I've never had any trouble with dependencies slowing down my computer.  I suppose it would depend on what kind of computer you have.  But mine is over 2 years old and it was nearly obsolete when I bought it.  Actually, the only building that slows my SC4 down is Taipei 101 and it doesn't have dependencies.

I say go for the dependencies.  Otherwise, you miss out on all the BSC, BLS, and CSX stuff, which is dependency-heavy but beautiful.

I made it a point to download all the dependency mega packs before I did anything else.  It makes things easier.

for nam search for NetworkAddonMod and for the other two go to the ST Exchange and search for them i unfortunetaly however dont have rush hour, and it appears that all 3 of those require rush hour, can someone give me some ideas on what would be some good options that dont require rh?
