Hi everyone

Yesterday i was searching for some cool maps.. I found a GREAT map of my own hometown.

Just look at the description

Do you see that great detail? I did too!

So i downloaded it and followed all the instructions (Yes, i did put the 1000m plugin in the folder)

Then it started rendering until, finally, it was finished! And what do i get?

Just look at this screenshot taken from the region view!oslobogusup3.png

Could someone help me please?

i think that's normal with the default erosion settings. i think you may be able to find additional erosion control plugins on the STEX, but i'm not sure. if you're a Windows user, you might think about getting SC4TerraFormer. it's a 3D landscaping tool that can import terrain without erosion and save without you ever having to use SC4. plus it's about 50 times faster when rendering.

What happened to the screen shot?

edit:  something is wrong with my setup, the image starts to load then disappears.

EDIT 2:  I got a look at it from the URL in the quote box.  I have had that happen when I render from an color image I have converted to grayscale.  I don't know what causes it, and I haven't tried the map you are using.

Thanks, that's wierd, maybe I haven't tried to look at a png image before on ST.  When I did a quote on the post the image showed up OK.
